| I love Speedwagon's incredibly dramatic commentary on everything he sees. He made Erina using a wet cloth to tend to Jojo sound like the most intense scene ever witnessed. |

It is by far the weakest of the routes, and I think going through it so fast helped the pacing of the much better second arc. |

| meh I hated this episode, almost fell asleep. Main character now knows how to use super powers other than that nothing special. |

| Man, this show is manliness himself. Dislocating your arm to get a greater range and fighting while holding a glass of wine. It's so useless, but it show your class :3 Dio is so brutal, killing the woman by exploding her head. I really didn't expected that show to get so gruesome. I already foreshadow it, JoJo will have a kid with Erina and she will die in a dramatic way due to Dio and it will be symbolizing the life he had with his lonely father. |

| Wow the pacing...it's way too fast!!! It's so fast paced that it actually feels like an abridged series or just a straight up parody of old Shounen anime (perhaps that's intentional). Hopefully they slow it down a bit...I am however liking the fabulous poses, sound effects and Speedwagon's one liners. I feel like Speedwagon might become a favourite! |

| A mentor comes out of nowhere to help the protagonist. This reminds me of the hunter x hunter training session. Also, the fast pacing is a positive. |
| Okay, I didn't expect there to be like magical shounen powers in this that can heal and hurt at the same time. Jack The Ripper is in everything, from this to Black Butler to Ripper Street etc. He's a recruit for Dio lol. Zeppeli discovered the mask and his dad went cray cray with it! D: That overdrive technique whilst cool, I did not understand how his face just kinda blew up. Cool but confusing fighting techniques. Never spill the wine JoJo, it will come in handy lol. Weirdly and not for drinking but finding people lol. With their spirit energy ... oops wrong show. |

| The Baron came out of nowhere and just kept talking about Ham Energy. Bizarre. Cutting off a horse's head and hiding inside the body's fucked up. I am enjoying this greatly. |

I loved episode 1 and it was a very intriguing way to get into this... and then it kind of fell off with 2 and 3, but still remained interesting if only for the characters... and this one totally lost me. Is this really just DBZ 2.0? Over the top, gigantic buff guy actions and powers to 'save the world' from a vampire lord and his zombies? Really? I mean, at least they explained the power, which was interesting with turning advesity, fear, all that into your power was handled okay... but... sorry, this is just stupid standard shonen. Big on imagination and style, sure, but I like things that usually aren't save the world stories, or if they are, keep in very personal and intense for the cast. This had none of that for me. No torment, no real characterization, wacky mentor coming out of nowhere. Ugh, I remember why I grew out of shonen. Not that you can't still it good, but this is the kind of storytelling I didn't like even as a kid. Overall, good start, but I'm done after this episode. If this show is so beloved simply for its fighting, then I'm glad I won't have to waste countless months of my life going through it all. It's far too blunt for my tastes. Dropped. Edit: I did further research on future arcs (the supposedly 'better' ones) and oh my god... and here I've been calling Naruto, One Piece, Fairy Tail, and Bleach the worst animes of all time. Congrats, JoJo... I think I have my new #1 choice of most retarded series of all time. |
