| From what I understood, Lancer had amnesia about the events of the war. It seems that the shock was so great that it whiped his head clean. Ouch. |

| "The sufferings of my unwanted lords never even crossed my mind because I cared for nothing but my chivalry" And that's why Lancer sux. He may say he wants to properly serve his master, but he made a few selfish decisions, which created a lot of mistrust with Kayneth, and doesn't even really care to save him/them (Einzbern forest battle, perhaps Sola's kidnapping too). Sometimes too much chivalry can blind you and it really pisses me off. I can only think of 2.5 characters that fit this description though. Worst characters ever. Enough ranting. It was still a fun episode with Lancer acting like an idiot. Midorikawa was awesome lol |

| Lancer's only mistake was not to make a proper contract with Sola which allowed Kiritsugu to sneak in with Sola under his arm. Other than that, he was loyal, obedient and brave, and he really didn't want to have anything to do with his Master's wife. The fault is on Sola for being a bitch to Keyneth ( who really loved her ) and on Kayneth for allowing his jealousy to cloud his judgment and thus being a prick towards Lancer. Lancer's fault is that he was TOO loyal. Don't you badmouth the man who gave his everything for Fast Wheels. |
| There was also episode 8. After sensing that Kayneth was in danger he hesitated to go save him. He just stood there until Saber said he should go. Some loyalty. You could also question his loyalty in episode 5, where he completely disobeyed Kayneth's orders. That was another case of chivalry > master. In the end, like Nasu pointed out in this episode, Lancer cared more about following his chivalry than anything else and the loyalty towards his master was iffy. Surly it didn't help that Kayneth and Sola were terrible masters, the whole team was an ugly mess, but Lancer came off as the most detestable to me. I already said why in my other post though. I just can't stand characters like that and Lancer did nothing whatsoever to make himself likable [to me]. |

| Lancer suffered during this war. Like Iri said, he is too handsome and kind to win the Grail. A lof of funny moments during this OVA, but poor Lancer :/ |

| Good god Irisviel is merciless. I actually felt tears in my eyes from watching Lancer's suffering, it was that bad. Don't blame Lancer's fate on his good looks and personality! That's just being jealous, mate. LANCAS WILL ONE DAY RULE THE WORLD, AND THEN YOU WILL RUE THE DAY THAT YOU MOCKED THE E RANK LUCK! That and I like Lancers a lot, and Irisviel has lost all love from me after Prisma Illya's Shirou-torture 'fanservice' |

| "Edited by Emiya Kiritsugu" xD This was the funniest Special without a doubt. Diarmuid was great in it. On a side note, I'm a bit surprise about the low amount of "shiping" Artoria and Diarmuid received... not that I'm into that but it truly was something curious. Anyways, great Special. |
