Couldn't I have had a teacher like Onizuka in middle or high school? I liked the episode, Onizuka continues to dish out his form of teaching.

Awesome series lol. I'm sorry but I couldn't hold back laughing on the people who said they want Onziuka as a teacher in rl! Still, he wouldn't be that bad now would he =D.

Brillant series, so funny aswell! Loved the scene at the end:

"You put on the handbrake right"
"Whats that"

I also love how this series switches from light hearted to serious; there are some deep underlying messages in this anime.

Cresta 0 - Onizuka 5. Well, technically they only used it to follow them this time, but its destruction was still because of Onizuka, so I would count it.

Nice resolution with Kanzaki, but I was a little disappointed that they didn't do the scene in the manga when Onizuka gets his old bike gang to tell Urumi their past.

She's upset because she's a test tube baby but the childhood's of some of those 'Bozu' is down right horrific!

I loved how he managed to teach even kanzaki a lesson, Onizuka never ceases to entertain me in all his way he does it in an elaborate way, but i've wondered what's up with his gang, is it his past gang when he was a teenager or is it just some people that owe him something.

No way. No way having an IQ of 200 will forgive anyone of blowing out all the windows in a school. She obviously has problems and needs to get help. :( Has she ever been disciplined before? Eek, what a pitiful girl.

Cresta is already, silently, planning its revenge against Onizuka.

Jokes aside, this episode works as a nice climax to Kanzaki's arc, and once again shows us how awesome Onizuka is.

So Urumi did have a good reason for her trust issues.
That old teacher of hers f*cked up big time tbh.. she was basically her substitute mother and then spouted out her big secret just because of personal pride.
I can understand that she is so mad with that.

But as Onizuka says "Grin and move on!". That's always the best advice.. don't let other people's mistakes decrease your fun in life. Be bigger, step past it and keep on smiling.

Onizuka manages to save even those beyond saving.

Still I really don't buy it. Sure it would be nice if she were to become normal from now on but let's not forget about the fact that she bowed up windows in two schools and fucked up so many teachers as well. Putting aside correcting the techers mistakes, the fact that she throws exploding handmade bombs at people/ open up oxygen bottles / or let's not forget about that snake thing either... right there is also her introduction scene. She is a psycho no matter how you look at it.

I sometimes do like psychos in animes but in a realistic setting like this, she is really just fucked up kid.

If she doesn't go to prison for at least few years for all that then RIP realistic setting.

I really don't like how the show tried to make me feel bad for her.

It's true that Onizuka is absolutely great character as a whole and not many are his equal but looking at the series in general, there are really quite a lot of characters that are simply badly written to begin with just like their story arcs.

Like this arc was quite bad in my opinion and so was the one one with the teacher... well naturally BAD in comparison to the earlier part of the story. I still enjoy it quite a lot but I have rant.

In the end though, the most unforgivable is the change of opening and ending... they really were so great :)

Nothing realistic about GTO's setting, it's pure fantasy at least as much as something as Sword Art. That's not a bad thing though, that makes the comedy sparkle and the emotional moments (I'd say this series is emotionally real than physically real) pop. I loved this little arc, but dont like the animation quite as much since they got rid of all those ugly close ups.

So that's 4 Crestas destroyed (the 4th one had to be repaired once prior to its actual destruction). How much longer until the vice-principal's insurance cancels his policy???

Also, she didn't know what a parking brake was....BWAHAHAHAA
