| I suppose they needed someway to cue the fight between Priscilla & Claire. Also, Jean's attempt to get that far with a hole through her guts is valiant, but will probably lead to her death. And then there's the manga alternative, which i won't mention again. |

I was rewatching Claymore and I saw the discussion on this episode about people saying this episode was pretty much a filler. The animation in some parts does seem super rushed, like the screenshot of Galatea below.  |

Well finally he's back and here to help Cla...oh look he's cowering in fear while Clare is awakening. When she did it the first time, he immediately jumped to her aid, so what changed? Is he scared of her monstrous form or something? Who knows, who cares? It's funny how Miria, Helen, Deneve, and Jean are closer to her than Raki at this point. They didn't hesitate to go after her. Why is he even still here? Honestly, he was so pitiful in this episode that I genuinely felt bad for him. To think that same person said the Teresa arc ruined the show lol. That arc was miles better that whatever is happening right now. |
