| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Overall for the series I'd give it a 7 out of 10 because it was inconsistent, it had moments where it was really exciting and freaky, but other parts where it was boring, silly and the characters just talked for too long. So yeah, it was alright, i don't think i'll bother with the next series though. |

| This series was around a 6.5 for me for quite some time due to the pacing issues in some episodes. Some episodes were good, while others were really draggy affairs where the characters spent far too much time talking, whining or complaining, etc. A lot of the characters were really, really annoying too. At least this episode made up for it; this episode helped to make up for some of the earlier parts in this series which I forced myself to sit through. Overall 7/10. Not bad I guess. Now for the 2nd half of this series. |

| The series started off as good and hold allot of promise, blood, gore, tits, moral indifference etc xD But sadly it rapidly grew quite boring and I just started to become angry at the characters and they pathetic reasoning and so called 'sense of justice '. Like Nishi said hypocrites the whole lot of them. And those last robot chicken enemies.. give me a break.. the fact that they where so fugly and annoying is reason enough to kill them. Overall 7/10 which gives reason enough to watch the second season. |
| Slow pacing and annoying characters. First season didn't really explain anything plotwise. The "monsters" were ugly as fuck, so I couldn't take them seriously. Kishimoto's boobs were nice, but that's about it. Expecting something better with the second season. Hopefully, the characters learn how to use those guns instead of arguing with each other. |

| Yeah, I'll give it a 7 too... and I think that's being generous. I mean, it was slow as FUCK in the middle, and there wasn't a character I didn't want to personally murder for some reason or another, but Gantz's humor and the gore and tits (somewhat) made up for it. Not the greatest ever, but I'll watch the second season (or series, whatever it is) in hopes that it's better. |

| I like this series. It's characters personality and how they react based on the situasion they are in. It's realistic enough imo. Eventough there are some weakness like many things still left unanswered. I think I can forgive it. Well, off to 2nd season now. |

| The idea was good but there was too much talking and slow pacing. But the thing that annoid me the most was the whiny characters. They always start to shake and cry in stead of killing them aliens off like a boss. not sure if 6 of 7/10 |
| Hmm! this episode made up for all those episodes I didn't care that much about. It was a good episode -the 1st and the 13th episodes were the best for me. I liked this one a lot. I think it had a lot of good action and violence in it and I also loved Kurono's guts: I'm not running anymore, I'm fighting! I love this type of personality and I hoped he'd do something of the sort once and for all. I dislike the fact they are crying. I mean, too much crying for me, really. I'm glad the kid and the granny died. They annoyed the hell out of me... Also, the soundtrack, gosh! I loved it. I'm going to watch the second series as well. The anime's not bad, if I think about it, I just get the feeling it's kind of "incomplete", if I can say so. But the 13th episode was really, really good. The dog has 0 points, hahaha... poor dog. Kurono -18. Kickass, right?! mhm... let's see what's next :) |

| Wasn't an all to bad anime tbh the pace was good the story was good and the art wasn't all to bad, though quite slow per episode the global story line was decent enough good that there is a second season or this would really not have a good ending! From this first season I'd say 7/10 lets see if the second can do better! |

| FINALLY! THIRTEEN EPISODES IN AND SOMEONE STANDS UP FOR THEMSELVES! COCK-A-DOODLE-DO, MOTHERFUCKER! Now THIS was a good episode of Gantz. Incidentally, it's also the end of the first season! Why couldn't there have been more of this? It feels like they could of wrapped up the second hunt in two episodes but instead it took us foreeeeeeeeeeeever to get to this point! Had there been more action and less standing/crying around, I think I would have really enjoyed this but I can't go any higher than a 7/10, if even that. 6 might be more appropriate but I haven't decided. I don't think I'll check out the second season yet, if I ever do. There IS a second season, right? I've noticed that the list on here only goes up to 13 episodes. I might try a new series first. I need a break from that sometimes unbearable pacing. Might pick it back up later, but for now I'm finished. |
| This episode was by far the best though, with Kurono finally standing up for himself and "homo" lol. 7/10, the concept had so much potential, but the pacing was so off. Definitely not following up, might watch the live action for Ken'ichi Matsuyama. |
| Finally! Took 12 episodes for someone to finally just say "FK THIS SHIT!" When Kei said he ain't gonna run anymore it felt like I just woke up from a nightmare. Overall, pretty inconsistent, BUT I was kept entertained throughout the whole process. :) |

| The manga is more bloody and shocking it seems. The gruesome parts happen too fast in the adaptation and they're not as detailed, so it doesn't have the same effect. But the adaptation has more character development and it represents society even more cynically. I really liked that. Overall I enjoyed it, but feels like something is missing. |

| pff... well I have to admit I was a bit disappointed by this show. The first few episodes looked promising but there's not much going on later, they just kill those (innocent?) things. Everytime they engage in a new round I wonder whether there's a peaceful/clever solution, whether we'll learn some more details about how/why they died, what keeps them alive but everything that always happens is that the main characters get in some sort of mini drama but make it out on top, regardless of how foolish they act. Can someone give me a personal recommendation on whether I should take a look at season 2? |
