I know free, legitimate anime is always a good thing, but couldn't they have picked Veoh or something instead of Crucnhyroll?

Actually, Crunchyroll generally has a higher quality stream than Veoh, if you choose to watch the "high quality" video, that is. At one point only people who donate could get it, but they now have, if I recall correctly, a peer to peer stream with a higher bit rate. I have never thought that getting a free profile is difficult either.

I would prefer Crunchyroll any day since Veoh's banned in my place *shrug*

Streaming is always a less-than-ideal solution. And then there's the issue of Crunchyroll using, if you'll forgive the expression, shitsubs. Fansubs are still miles away from this in terms of quality, rendering the "legitimacy" of the service a moot point. I'll admit I have donated to check out the downloadable episodes offered for this particular series on Crunchyroll before, but seeing what is on offer (hardsubs? xvid? *really?* (to be fair, you can get mp4 containers with, iirc, h264, but only if you pay extra)), I must try not to make a habit out of it. I would rather not encourage this trend.

Lucky that Pireze still subs this.
