| The main character's seiyuu: Hagiwara Masato Original mangaka: Kaitani Shinobu Hagiwara Masato is Akagi and Kaiji's seiyuu. Kaitani Shinobu also made Liar Game, another great gambling manga. This might turn out to be the best show of the season! |
| I thought this was gonna be lame tbh.......i dident know that it was by same pple that made Kaiji and Akagi(aside from mangaka). Gonna give this a try for sure, hopefully some one subs it. |

There, he meets Toua Tokuchi, a 134-kmph/83 mph pitcher and the undisputed king of a gambling form of baseball called "One Out." At Kojima's urging, Tokuchi signs up with the Lycaons. His contract differs form the usual, though, in that he gets 5,000,000 yen for every out he pitches, but loses 50,000,000 yen for every point he gives up." Baseball anime with gambling elements. A certainly wierd storyline, aside from that, since its baseball and as I'm a fan of the MAJOR series, I'll also give this a shot. Though, still not so sure I'll like this, seems the protagonist is at "lose-lose" situation. |

| I hope so too! It just might end up as one of those underdog animes that won't get any subs this season. Hope Triad doesn't dismiss it as a Fukumoto wannabe! |

| I'm gonna see about picking this one up since it seems pretty promising and I really liked Kaiji o= Sports anime always seem to be more entertaining then "moe" / cutesy shows... for me at least o_O |

| Same. I might just translate it and sub myself if the actual baseball storyline picks up. If it sticks to the gambling, I won't though. Although, I might just get someone to translate it for me anyhow, if no one good does it. Also, I doubt the Triad will sub this. They tend to stick to 1 anime a season, and since the chances of Detroit Metal City being licensed is slim, they probably won't pick another up, especially if it deals with baseball. |

| It is such a great anime, it's hard to find a good battle of wits anime where the main never loses, and that never fails to keep you interested. Just wish that it would be longer. |
