| Nicely done. Her death made the story "real" and it deliver emotional development to the rest of the "Night Rain". I do not hope further teammates will be killed off, maybe lose a arm or a leg. :( |

| despite not having a real long time to build up an attachment to the character the death did leave me feeling sentimental. I was caught completely off-guard by it considering how well night-raid was doing, i got careless v.v P.S Schere's last thoughts before she died just made it all that more emotional. |

| Schere died. Should've known her scene with Tatsumi was a death flag. Good demonstration of how despite being ridiculously powerful, the members of Night Raid are mortal too. Lol, safe bet my foot. I lost that one haha. Well, being not so easy to predict is definitely a good thing. And the author is not afraid of killing off established characters. |

| I definitely didn't want Schere to die, but it was hard to be moved by it since she was done in by a "mouth gun." That was just a bit too goofy for me. |
| Whattt?! Didn't expect that at all, not so early anyway. And they made her seem quite cool too, she seemed genuinely nice, I liked her, and I tend to not like the "nice girl" kinda characters. I quite like this manga, I'm surprised I managed to feel for her death after only 9 chapters, a skilled mangaka. Looking forward to where this is going. |

| I give the author credit for killing characters but again, as in the anime, I almost didn't care about Shele because she didn't get enough time. Anyway, I do hate Seryuu tho... dislikeable character... |

The main thing keeping me from getting into this is just that the tone feels so wrong, they go from killing in such gruesome fashion to having conversations you'd find in a school anime back in their hideout, wish they'd balance things out a bit more. Also, do all of the bad guys have to be so obviously evil twisted people, a bit of an anti hero from the kingdom's side might be interesting to see. |
