Also note that:
1. I use "Japanese" for the kanji because that's how the names are written in Japanese. Some of them are not written the same way in Chinese;
2. I skipped the azana (courtesy names) because they're rarely used in the show. Only exception is Koumei since in the show (and in reality) people usually call him/her by that instead of his/her full name;
3. Mana (真名) is unique to the Koihime Musou series. There's no such a thing in the real history.

As I said in the post, those are the characters who "have appeared so far in the anime". Ryuubi has yet to appear (episode 11), and yep, she's not in the first game. She's featured in the new one. If the one who's going to appear in episode 11 is the same one as in the new game Shin Koihime Musou (which should be), her information will be as follows:

thx for the post i don't get why their is soo many names i'm chinese and i have only three name whats romaji and mana WTF i never heard of them. and this series really ruin the three kingdom for me. I never in my life would thought to turn Zhou Yu into a girl ,even though in history they do say he has a handsome face ------
