| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kuroyukihime's provoking his Haruyuki's childhood friend was just to test her? So she checked on her like how she did to him. Whole level 9-er thing is scary, and it was done by Kuroyukihime. That follows by an attacker attacking her. In order to find about the attacker, Haru needed to find out if his childhood friend, who cares about Haru very much as a childhood friend, is the attacker or not. Suspicious file there ("Back Door")? Is she really the attacker? |

| Ok this episode was really hard but I have to say they did a good job on fan service for a first in the spoiler Apart from that, some other comments. About Burst comments. (Trying some other forms of writing that are quick): First of all HECK YEAH at the following,  A first Hime x Haruyuki hand holding. Haruyuki my man’s blush is nice. KICK ASS! Check out in the spoiler Another good one they did is Hime escaping from a duelist. They foreshadowed he is blue and that he wants Hime’s head. Lovely childhood depiction in the spoiler Wow according to 2chan the part in the spoiler  That was close to a cheat of Chiyu but I still liked her reactions. I am sure Takumu is one $%$%^$ lucky guy. Let’s just say with a hot girl that reacts like that? Yeah. About thee end, I kind of always had a knack for knowing ahead in some anime stuff. I kind of got that they would cut at the spoiler About preview, CONFESSION! BIG SHIT HAPPENING! In the spoiler Hint: Now who do you think could put it in? Who is closest to Chiyu that could get away with it? That would would know her neurolinker well. Family? Maybe. Friends? Maybe What else? NO SAYING! That’s a spoiler but these questions could give you enough to figure out and be O_O like I was in the manga. PM if you want the answer. It could haunt you till episode 4 or even 5 though. So yeah it's the part where investigations are happening cause some high level person is after Hime cause of her past. I also think Chiyu's part was better done than in the manga. More comedic and fan service filled. I also though it would be around that part while reading the manga. BTW Late but it’s done. Geh it's not that hard to figure out that yourself who put the backdoor, the only way you can do that is have is direct connecting, in this series is direct connecting like lovers or closest friends (trusted). |

| Is this based on the light novels or the manga, are there even differences between them? Anyway, the pacing of this is great, serious shit next episode and an awesome fight is awaiting us in episode 5 (and 6?). Damn, Haru is one hell of an idiot, the tension between Chiyu and Kuroyuki is great. On the one hand Kuroyuki is such a badass girl opposing the other kings and on the other hand she is terribly in love with Haru, how could you not adore her. I don't remember Chiyu's and Haru's scene in the manga like that but seriously, how could she not notice that Haru was looking for something while they were talking and not ask him. First time I was hearing the OP and ED and I dont like them, too bad. |

Perhaps a severe case of escapism and trying to strengten her self-esteem by compensating losses in real life with success in a digital network? Her mentioning the ugly form of her avatar last episode seems to hint at some personal issues at least. Haru is quite clever and was even able to deceive Chiyu while having a highly emotional conversation with her and being distracted by her physical appeals at the same time. Maybe that's the reason why Hime took an interest in him as it's hard to imagine that she is harboring any romantic feelings towards Haru. |

| Good episode,false alarm. They are adapting it quite close to the manga that is good. Kuro telling Haruyuki about her betraying her friends in Burst Link was well done but for me the best of the episode was that they show when she cut red's head.  KURO IS JUST SO BADASS!!AND CUTE!! The part with Chiyu and Haru was nice but the manga as many say had more something i didnt like they cut but o well. Also...those faces... That face can make you think things....yep it did. At the end they show someone add a link program to Chiyu....I WONDER WHO COULD IT BE??? "SARCASM" Next episode is going to be intense......just wait just wait. BTW.....Kuro taking a shower.... | So after waiting about 18 days, episode 3 is finally on. Damn. Anyways...latest episode. Kuroyukihime explains a bit about the other Burst Linkers and the strongest of them: Reaching Level 10 is serious business. Oh my: Cliffhanger ending. Great episode 5/5. |

| Another good episode; liked when they showed her cutting of Red's head; actually liked the whole fact that Kuroyukihime is a bad ass on the run; has a nice ring to it; slowly trying to break down the order piece by piece; guess i just like rebellion :P; Anyway i don't think Chiyu is one they are looking for; but following that thought then it would be Taku since its not that out there to think that she is helping her boyfriend. |

| I haven't read the manga, so this episode with all the lifeless exposition was painfully dull to watch. I still don't have any reason to care about the characters based upon what I've seen so far in the first three episodes. Another episode like this and I am bailing... |

| I was surprised to hear Chiyu has a boyfriend, I thought she was interested in Haru. She may well still be after that last scene... I'm happy that Chiyu and Haru got everything sorted out, the bedroom scene was so cute. I think I might ship Chiyu with Haru more than Kuroyukihime. So excited for episode four! |

| No battle (with an enemy designed in childish manner) and a nice episode. Although this episode didn't show the detail of Black Lotus - Kuroyukihime's avatar again, you can see it on the official web site. (Also you can confirm it in the OP.) It's not ugly at all as she says, but quite sharp. If it dances ballet, everything around it would be cut off to pieces. I'm looking forward to watching it soon. |

Hacking the information that Chiyu gets is of only one small option among the many others that he has when he does that. He is also liable of prison. I am sure it's illegal in the set-world to do this. |

| I honestly think that Chiyu is the Purple King and Taku is the Red King and somehow, Taku hacked admin rights to burst again (chiyu probably helped him since i think she's purple king). He is using Chiyu's backdoor to access the school network and attack Kuroyukihime while they're at school. Chiyu was probably also checking/downloading arita's files and sending it to Taku during their direct link. Conspiracy theories ftw. Well let us see how the story shall unfold... :D 5/5 Great episode :D |

Somehow these kids seem a little more mature than grade seven and eight students, but maybe that's an artifact of being linked into the net and virtual worlds from birth. And I can't help but wonder what sex is like when you're totally jacked into and interfacing with your partner's mind. Just that conversation session between Chiyu and Haru was pretty intense. |

When you accelerate, your brain process things 1000 faster. The accel world is a copy of the real world so one can not simply enter brain burst and affect reality while he is in, he will have to get out to do so. Basically in a sport like, let's say kendo, one would start the brain burst program just before the opponent is starting a strike and would then analyze the situation, stop the brain burst program and then act according to the plan he made while using it. Brain burst allow you to think and analyze for much longer than you should have, but you still have to do whatever you want in reality. Someone could not play on a computer and rank up in an online game because they couldn't move the mouse or anything for that matter while being in brain burst with the exception of ... -Spoiler about new stuff from next ep- |
