I'm glad he's there to make the setting better, but I just do not like the straight man himself. Same thoughts apply to Shinpachi in Gintama. |

Too much moe fanservice, not enough substance, not even on the comedy front. But, I imagine a few people I know will keep watching this, and if the parody can actually pick up, I might revisit it. It's a very loose might. Very. |

| Woah, woah woah. I wasn't prepared at how awesome this show is. Right from the start, we got gore, moe and comedy. Sorta reminds me of Kore Zombie in that respect, which I absolutely love. Can't get enough of Nyarlko's energy. She's just so entertaining and left me laughing plenty of times. Oh god, that pokemon scene. This show's humor is exactly what I like. Excellent first impression, I will be watching future eps. |

| Thanks to this show, our knowledge is widened with three points: 1) Iron Striver's Clan name must be a reference for Edward Cullen's (Twilight) vampire clan. Or maybe Iron Striver is Edward Cullen himself. 2) Since the Earth got the most pleasuring entertaining articles, the aliens come here to buy condom. Because our condom is more durable than their. 3) Since the Ancient Gods are mostly a form of tentacle monsters, and they coming always to Earth, sometimes to earn some extra money to fulfill their otaku desires, they participate some role in tentacle rape hentais. |

| (Nyarlathotep).... It almost sound like "love hotel" to me. Since there is a word "hotep" in the end, I thought it has something to do with the famous Egyptian king "Imhotep". Seems like I am wrong lol 「バールのようなもの」(Baaru no you no mono) = "something similar to bar(crow bar?) " This word is often used in News and its quite funny they don't use the full word Crow bar but "Bar" only lol.I even found a small research in wiki concerning about this but it seems it was deleted ( i wonder why? )... Anyway, the crowbar almost remind me of the badass scientist guy with a HEV suit holding a red crowbar lol |
| So far it's entertaining enough. And Nyaruko is certainly cute (AMG @ dat ahoge). It could turn a bit too repetitive with the jokes, but not enough to bother me. (A shame at the none-panty-shot moments though :p) |

| Kana Asumi's voice work here takes the spotlight. Thanks to her energetic and wacky performance as Nyaruko, it's a fun first episode. First time hearing Eri Kitamura do a male role (as Mahiro), but I think she's doing fine. Although I am more used to hearing hergenki girl voice. |

| I didn't find this show all that funny. In fact it was pretty boring to me all the way around, not just the male lead but the whole show to me...The characters are indeed cute but that's about it. The humor just didn't make me laugh much but I will give it a few more shots and probably end up getting a chuckle or two out of it. :3 HOPEFULLY! |

| Oh man, usually I'm okay with most moe/loli annoying characters in comedy/parody animes.... but this... this just made me mad. Whats with this obsession of Japan to make everything moe? Frikin moe sengoku era chars, moe monsters from cthulu mythos, moe vampires Im sure theres a lot more that I thankfully havent seen, but damn you just can't turn something into a moe with a flat chest give it an annoying voice and expect people to like it. The post-modern comedy felt forced and even though its a comedy... shouldn't there atleast be some struggle to defeat the enemies? Yeah Im losing sanity points already,but for the wrong reasons. This season the anime industry is really just trying to bastardize the horror genre, as if that faliure of of an anime Another didn't do a good enough job. |
