| The manga and anime are actually both extremely different from one another. It almost doesn't seem like the same story sometimes! Unlike with most other series, the PT manga was based on the anime (rather than the other way around). But in one of the extras in the first manga, the manga-ka admitted that she didn't actually watch the Princess Tutu anime before creating the manga... she just applied the basics that she knew about. It makes for a very different experience, and two very different stories. While both are good, I think I like the anime more. n_n |
