| According to their official press release, Sentai Filmworks has licensed Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-hen (Gintama - The Movie). Gintama - The Movie will soon be available digitally and on DVD and Blu-ray later this year. Sentai has confirmed with ANN that the movie will have an English dub. Source: Press release |

| I really hope they don't screw up the dub; i was never able to picture Gintama with a dub, but what i don't get is they released part of the series only subbed, so why do the movie now dubbed? Is it to measure if the rest of the series is worth dubbing based on the profits? |
