DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- [01:53] <windy[gl21|sleep]> OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD [01:53] <windy[gl21|sleep]> VIRAL AND SIMON JOINT "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!??!" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this ep kicked major fricking ass. the execution of it was...pefect. from the time when yoko blasted off simon's handcuffs to when boota burrowed in yoko's boobs i was just gaping at the screen in awe. i cannot express my love for this show in words~ and yomako (?) sensei is someone to really be admired. yoko made a lot of little fans in that short time on the island :) next ep is going to be even more epic than this, possibly. VIRAL AND SIMON SHARING THE GURREN LAGANN?! hell yesssssss. |
| Awesome episode... Yoko was cool as a school teacher... it's good to have her back in the show. Also, and the end where Viral and Simon were piloting the Gurren-Lagann was awesome. I can't wait for the next episode. |

| Ever since the timeskip I've been getting goosebumps lol. Brilliant episode fantastic. The vid I got had lines which wernt subbed, which I thought was strange, but apart from that, it was brill. |

| Yoko's segment was average, didn't really reveal much except for her wanting a simple life after taking back the surface but the ending more than made up for it (also have her boobs gotten bigger?). Pretty much I've now realized what we were shown in the very beginning of the series and It'll probably go back to that part in the next episode. |

| Yoko part was kinda cute. The students finding out she was Yoko and her throwing chalk for discipline was enjoyable. And the end where she revealed herself and kicked some ass was a great endoff to all the kiddy tension. But the Simon x Viral took the cake. Much better than that stupid Simon x Rossiu combo that I always wanted to end. |

| I never thought much of Yoko, but as a teacher...I suddenly like her. Even when she went back to 'Dai-Gurren' mode, the jacket she's wearing makes her look quite stylish! But Viral and Simon teaming up in the Gurren Lagann? I nearly passed out through sheer brilliance! |

| Lol moment-At the beginning where that little girl was like "Nnnm" to the guy after Yoko was like "Well done, big boy." I'd let Yoko teach me anytime :3 Favorite Scene-When Yoko and that kid were on top of the tree, and it showed the sun and moon again. Ah..I loved that scene from episode 1... Favorite Line-"Please step back." and "You're Nakim the Tree Climber!" That line combined with the scene made me start crying manly tears TT^TT. Yoko fighting those two ganmen was so kick ass. Though it strayed a little from the main storyline it was still an amazing episode :3 Best Fucking Line I Ever Heard-"Who the hell do you think I am?" IT'S BEEN SO LONG SINCE I'VE HEARD THAT! Viral is a good guy now, awww yeaaaaah, and to top it off teamed with Simon! My god this series is so fucking epic. "This drill is a drill that will pierce the heavens!" Another fucking epic line-"Don't give up, Rossiu!" I literally smiled and cried at the same time when that happened. And the music that was playing was so amazing too, even though we've heard it before it seems like it's new each time. My god. And the most epic line after "Who the hell do you think I am?!"-"The two paths between human and beast, intertwine to create the path of the Spiral! Piercing destiny as yesterday's enemies, creating a new path towards the future with these hands! THE UNION OF FATE! GURREN-LAGANN! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE!?" |

| I was with akuma2002 on this one... I was initially kinda disappointed because the schoolteacher side-story was kind of saccharine and lame, but man did it kick ass in the last 5 minutes. I almost jumped out of my seat at the "WHO THE **** DO YOU THINK WE ARE?!?!?!" part. |
