| The doctor is feeling a bit guilty and is partially blaming himself for Richard's death. He seems to be running away from the thought of it, but he continues to uphold Richard's search for the truth to figure out who Johan is. He believes Johan has something to do with it, especially after realizing the bottle Richard drank before falling to his death was not the type of alcohol Richard enjoyed. Just like Richard, the doctor was being followed as someone attempts to push him into an incoming train, but he turns around realizing it and chases after the guy, finding out that someone hired him to do it. Later on, the doctor goes to the cemetery to talk to Richard and leave him a bottle of whiskey. In the distance, Dr. Tenma is there approaching. After seeing Dr. Tenma, it made me go back to the last chapter and compare him to the picture of Johan that the prisoner started coloring his hair black. Tenma and Johan are drawn pretty similarly. Only their hair looks different. I may just be reader too much into it, but that made me feel a bit suspicious. Hmm. |

| In the context in which Johan made Richard die, it was in the most undignified and miserable way... When his family and Dr. Reichwein thought he was recovering, he falls back into alcohol and falls off the building of the university. Also, to his former police buddies he remained an infamous drunk until the end... The version that Johan conditioned is very powerful. But even so, Dr. Reichwein and Gillen are not so convinced of that version at all. And now, Tenma comes back to screen...? |
