If this episode wasn't enough to make sure this series never got licensed in America, the toothbrush scene definitely would. And that's a goddamn shame. |

Senjougahara, Hanekawa, Hachikuji, and Kanbaru were all victims of oddities, but the sources of those weren't from the charms circulating around the school. |

| Love Shinobu. Is it just me, or does the bathroom at Araragi's house look flipping amazing? I wish I had such a nice bathroom like that. Loving Shaft's art/animation/design, as always. |
| This post box doesn't seem very different then the quick post box. I was surprised by what happened in episode four. Namely, I was disappointed by what happened in episode four. Not because anything bad happened, but because episode three had me super psyched. The end scene in episode three ... made me think Senjougahara was in league with Hanewaka despite what Kanbaru had said previously (In my mind they were possibly preparing something for or against Kaiki. [Maybe I shouldn't be in the forums or posting my thoughts. I'm super worried about coming across spoilers or accidentally spoiling something.]) Although I must say, I was quite pleased with the character development. I'm also a little disappointed at the pace of the story, I feel like either nothing's going to drive the story soon, or everything's going to explode in my face. Either way I'm assuming there are actually important progressions in character development, otherwise the pacing wouldn't be the way it is. I would otherwise say I'm not normally one to watch or await a series as it comes out, but I've realized I don't watch much anime anyways. |

I guess that's what it'd seem like for people who haven't read any of the other novels (and especially Kizumonogatari in the case for this episode as it basically serves as a closure (or continuation, depending on how you see it) for the plot of Kizumonogatari). Other than that there's a lot of foreshadowing, character development and character introductions going on here which will be of great importance in the upcoming works. You just have to pay attention to the details, and the further you progress into the monogatari series the more you will appeciate what Nisemonogatari has done :) I haven't read any of the LNs. But I still think the pace is too slow, I mean come on we are in the 4th episode of a 11 episode series. Still there is not much significant plot developments, only significant things I can point out is that Deishu Kaiki and mentioning the curse of Karen. What I'm trying to say is that, they should really balance out character conversations and plot forwarding. |

| favourite episode so far awesome we got to see Shinobu she awesome and her conv with Araragi was great as well wonder what happen between his sister and Kaikididn't even realise that girl was Hanekawa till Karen said lol she looks so different This is my fav anime this season so far awesome!!!! Can't wait for next episode hopefully its awesome! |

I loved her looks in Bakemonogarari. Now she looks like a completely different character with shorter hair and no glasses. Anyway didn't expect Shinobu to talk that much(or at all). Surprised me for a moment. If she kills Araragi will she die too I wonder? You pretty much covered quite a bit... I'm not too keen on Hanekawa's new look either - she was so pretty before, now, she's quite plain and considereing all the characters in general have a stand out look (IMO), plain isn't a great thing. :( Shinobu is a motor mouth. :o I was wondereing what it would take to uncover a bit more about her without the prequel, but now, no worries. |

I'm under the impression that Nisioisin loves to make his characters go from long to short hair. There's Hanekawa, then soon to be Senjougahara (as seen in the series picture,) and then there was Togame from Katanagatari. |

| About the epiode - I absolutely loved it. I loved it so much that it made me read Kizumono and rewatch Bakemono from the beginning, which I'm doing right now. And that's why there's a question - in this episode, during the conversation between Araragi and Hanekawa, there was a train of thought as subtitles on the TV screen, I suppose it was an excerpt from the novel. Basically, it said that Koyomi hasn't seen Hanekawa in anything else than her school uniform (and pajamas, and underwear, but it "doesn't count") yet. But then there's Bakemono ep11, starting on 16:20 (timed to [qIIq] BDrip) - the flashback of Hanekawa transforming into the cat for the first time during the Golden Week. She is wearing a casual white dress in that sequence. Does anyone know the novels and can comment on it in any way? Is it an error in the anime, a mistake of NisiOisiN, or is it that Koyomi just forgot it? |

| Wow. I was literally counting the minutes until the episode was over, or would've changed it's course - which obviously didn't happen. But I guess that you enjoyed it, if you're into...that. (by that I'm referring to the major beating around the bush that was going on, not the loli. which didn't actually bother me tbh) Yet the quality didn't disappoint and we did somewhat got the plot moving so I would give it a 4/5. |
