| This episode was just magnificent that is the one word to describe it. It was mind blowing a lot of twist in it. i felt really sorry for lulu he lost everything and now the only thing he has left is his geass. i hated rolo with every bone in my body.... damn those writers. they gave him an heroic death and it was moving. i was feeling for him in the end how he gave in soo much for lulu because he didn't want to be some tool. the way they kill characters you despise gives you a change of heart. from here on out this show has entered a new league of its own. |

| By the end of the episode part of me felt like tearing up because of Rolo's death while another part of me felt like laughing hysterically because of just how fucked up this episode was xD I don't really know what to expect next lol |

| This series is now on the brink of making me depressed, I might be the only one here, but I honestly feel really bad for Lelouch! He has nothing left! As much as I sort of dislike Rolo, his death was pretty tragic and at least he killed himself unlike what he did to Shirley >_> 6 more episodes left now, I honestly don't know what to expect, although I haven't for a while. Lelouch's chances of surviving by the end of this season are pretty slim, especially considering the only thing he really has on his mind at the moment is getting his father to hell even if he gets dragged along for the ride. And with his new found determination, I think he'll succeed. Suzaku has also gone a little crazy because he has officially done the one thing he hated to do by killing innocent bystanders and I'm sure he realized it must have been because of the "live on" geass. Though, Jeremiah was standing right beside him with his geass canceler on! He could have relieved himself from the "curse". Though, instead, I think he's just too crazy to even notice. Lelouch and Suzaku have both entered the valley of the insane, so the next time they meet again it'll definitely be something interesting. |

| I was thinking after last episode that karen's chess piece would definitely be the queen, and that wouldn't surprise me with all this shows chess analogies(horrible as they are). She's still on his side so I wouldn't rule that out. With Jeremiah and Karen he at least has the 3 of the most powerful mecha on his side so he's not completely helpless. Are we entirely certain Schniezel doesn't have a plan against the emperor? It looks like he has his own agenda to me. There are 6 episode left and Anya is still a mystery? |

| Urgh, Nina, you make me wanna puke. Eoeo is dead at last, he didn't deserve a heroic death imo. Lulu lied again, but Kallen will surely come to rescue him. So far, Anya+Kallen+Orange+Gino(?) seems to be Zero's only "pawns." What'll the Black Knights do without Zero, anyway? Even Toudou can't replace Zero. Laughzaku is Laughzaku. Anyone wanna make a .gif of it? Emperor officially uses Ragnarok in the preview. That means the world will be destroyed in the next episode? Code Geass is returning to its original self. | it was a ridiculous episode. way to make lulu feel even more pain and regret for rolo's death. he does not get a break at all, at least he was able to signal to kallen that he did care for her by telling her to live on. damn the dark knights, so gullible and not even asking lulu for his side. lulu has truly taken on the persona of being the sacrificial lamb and accepting everyone's blame for everything. well now nina is probably switching sides. crazy girl finally realizing what the hell she was doing. i really think suzaku will join with zero and if he doesn't then probably anya will come into the picture and switch sides. for some reason with this big senseless massacre, i feel that someone like gino may switch sides. |
| I drop by the forums for the first time in a couple weeks, all eager to comment, and am greeted by seven pages of posts. Now I remember why I do this so sparsely... 'Twas a fantastic episode, even if Sunrise is doing this bi-polar cycle of manic killing followed by an episode of remorse and growth. I liked how everything just seemed to fit again with Kallen back (character interaction, ect.). Hopefully Suzaku just turns into a douche now (do I smell roll-reversal?) and Nina gets FLIEA'd. Which, being the most ironic of deaths, is the one Sunrise would prolly go with. I'm starting to buy into the whole "Geass teleports people to another dimension" line, seeing as Sunrise is notoriously terrible about spoilers in their OP's, and both Shirley and Rolo are absentee, who, coincidentally, are the only two "main" characters confirmed dead. Plus, Lulu can't have GOOD END if Nunnally is dead. Also C.C. will get her memory back somehow. Still, a lot of character redemption all around this ep. It'll be obvious by the end of 20 who the studio's pushing to be Team Lulu. And Rolo's finally dead in the most obvious of ways. Even when you think you're not being used by Zero, you still really are. Way to go, guy. |

| The betrayel of Lelouch happened a little to fast and conveniently. He doesn't deserve a chance to rebut the accusations against him after all he has done? How the fuck do the black knights think miracles happen. Do they think that normal people bring about miracles? Normal people only bring about mundane events, their enemy was Brittania, and they were a rag-tag bunch of militia; the conditions for winning had to be perfect so if sacrifices and strategic moves are what it takes then oh well, that's fucking war for you. Zero got them to where they were and without him they would have been scrubbing toilets at Ashford Academy. It was a good episode though. The three characters that I disliked all moved up a little in my books. Rolo died protecting the thing most precious to him and had become human in my opinion. Suzaku has lost his mind and hopefully will stop being the righteous prick that he is. And Nina had finally come to some sort of realization and will stop being a psychotic c*nt, but she is still my least favorite character in all of anime. Hopefully pyscho Suzaku will kill Nina with his bare hands. Lelouch is an empty heartless shell, and he pretty much has noting holding him back from causing destruction, except probably Kallen and C.C. It will be interesting to see how he will change the world. |
| I don't think that Suzaku will join up with Lelouche. He will probably blame Lelouche for those deaths, cause Suzaku fired because of Lelouche's Geass. And even though I hated Rollo before, it was kinda sad ;))) The episode was great, anyway. I can't wait for the next one ;) |

Diethard is willing to go with whatever gives him the best story. Ohgi came in and confirmed that Zero couldn't be trusted, so the only one who really needed convincing was Tamaki, and the story they presented was quite convincing. Zero being a Brittanian prince made sense since he was going on and on about Nunnally, so they already felt betrayed. Then there was the geass story, and the evidence that he used it to kill Japanese, and it also explained the behavior of lots of others. I don't think they were convinced too easily here. |

The thing that angered them was not the fact that Zwero was a prince or that he had geass or that he used them as pawns. What angered them was the fact that he geassed Euphemia to slaughter the Japanesse. In other words, they started thinking that Zero doesn't care about Japan and that Euphemia really did want to create the Administrative region. Then they made this: Prince + using Japanesse against Britannia + Slaughter of Britannian royalty= Zero wants to be the new Emp. But it seems that in next ep they will come to their senses. They looked sad for a reason in preview. |
