I like the English VA for the MC, but it's odd hearing him in this role and not his usual comedic one.

This story could turn out to be good. Who knows. TBD.

The Saiyuki series, Haikyu. Comedic/mischievous in Ouran Host Club, though I never finished that show.

Maybe that's not his main genre, but it's the one I've primarily seen him in.

The way they have presented the atmosphere is pretty eerie. Also i like that creepy soundtrack! in the front we see the classmates engaging well everyone talking and laughing, running and stuff but deep down we all know something sinister is happening and Misaki Mei is someone who is somehow associated with 'that' incident that happened 26 years ago.

Just started wathcing this for the sake of getting spooked lol. I liked the first episode. It's very atmospheric and the music makes you feel on edge everytime. First thoughts with the cast, I think they're pretty generic lol. Yukari and Izamami(?) looks like they have some mysteries going on. But the whole cake is definitely Mei. She doesn't give me the cute girl vibes like how she was potrayed by other people lol. Animation is pretty fine based on my standards. But hey, this episode is solid, can't wait to get moving lol.

Your existence doesn't matter because no one will notice if you never existed.

I like the atmosphere a lot, really sets up for what's to come. The opening is also nice.

Started watching this for spooky month this year, it’s definitely off to a good start, has a nice creepy vibe and it looks really good thanks to P.A. Works. It is another one of those city boy moves to countryside and scary stuff happens premise but I do like that premise and it’s definitely promising so far.

You also gotta love that the first kids Kouichi meets are immediately being creepy lol, I also loved Sakuragi’s reaction to Kouichi asking where Mei was. And it has a nice OP and ED, I definitely feel the early 2010s here.

And yeah this is from Winter 2012, that’s wild lol. I want to add I’ve known about this anime since my earliest days of anime back in 2013/2014, it’s just taken me this long to actually get to it lol

That is one disquieting class, to the point where Mei isn't necessarily any more outlandish or unusual than the rest of them. I fully expect strange happenings there.

Scenery and animation in this is stunning. The camera work was noticeably erratic, but that may be an intentional move to increase the mysterious value of each scene.

Dude that bit when Kouichi got out of the elevator and the ambience got louder and louder made me shiver LOL I never watch horror anime but I'm trying to shrink my PTW list by using a random anime picker for me, and it just happened to pick this. Wish me luck lol

Great episode overall, already feels pretty spooky imo
