| Victoria's transformation scene was so funny. It was more serious in Hellsing befitting a vampire series. I love her personality here more. Alucard is so much fun. |

| The laugh by the priest felt so forced and empty ... not the best performance. Seras has some massive breasts, when the priest was talking about doing stuff to her there was one scene where it looked like they were just 2 basketballs stuffed in a shirt. Engrish by Anderson wasn't too bad. Fantastic fight between Anderson and Alucard. |

| I haven't seen the original Hellsing, but this was pretty epic! Arucard is a badass. I know Police Girl will show us her strength soon enough! And Hellsing is really cool, too. Gore was just right, and battle scenes were well-played. |

| I was a little disappointed. I enjoyed the original series, but the pacing of this episode seemed kind of off, sometimes being too drawn out and other times being way too quick to the point of glossing over things. The art style of the blood in most shots is kind of ugly too, like it's too shiny. |

| That was a pretty epic first episode! I already love Alucard, even though he scares the fuck outta me. Haha. Naaah, still love him. He transformed Police Girl aka Seras Victoria into a "Draculina" after sacrificing her life just to kill that vampire. Loved the action scenes the most. Yet again, it was an epic first episode. |

| at last I started watching this series first I was confused b/w which one to watch Hellsing or the ultimate after doing a bit of searching I started this 1st episode was totally awesome with all the style and music being top notch let us see where this series takes me |

| Just out of curiosity, 17 years after its release I decided to start Hellsing and I just finished the series that has not convinced me enough so I'm starting to see the OVA ... Well, based on the assumption that there are no comparisons to quality level (obviusly) and in the care of the scenes then there're also 10 chapters each of almost an hour each ... I think that it will be more faithful to the manga and will be more clear about the contents regarding the plot, which the first series hasn't done :v The only thing that I disliked is Victoria's personality which seems to be more on the sidelines and already in the first episode there is a noticeable change between the series and the ova but all in all I think it will take me a lot, I'll see how it will end ^-^ |

| I'm a tiny bit disappointed that a show this critically acclaimed and widely loved has started off with a mediocre episode (in my opinion). The animation definitely was flawed, something I can usually look over, but my overall enjoyment just wasn't high. I hope the next episode can intrigue me a tiny bit better. The plot has potential, definitely, but we'll just have to see. |

| Also, the average episode length is disgusting. If I knew the length would be 40 minutes per OVA episode I would not have downloaded this, there is a reason I watch Anime, the average episode length is short. Only shows like The Sopranos can be excused for having a 40-50 minute long episode. |

| Honestly this wasn't a very impressive start. I didn't like the CG parts one bit and the pacing was kinda off. But I wanna give it a chance so I hope it gets better. I do like Alucard's character though. Also Anderson's Engrish is very cringey (maybe I should watch it in dub instead) |

| Just finished watching the first episode, and I LOVE this already! I watched the 2001 version just before this but even after just one episode, I already love this more than that version. The animation feels so smooth and it just looks great visually! I also feel like the exposition is done a bit better here! Definitely going to see this through to the end! |
