| Finally starting this about a year after I meant to when Part IV was first announced. First episode was alright. I think I like Mao best of all the characters so far but it's way too early to be sure. I was surprised it ended when it did since it felt like it just got started. Some very standard cliches already, but in fairness this did air 14 years ago. I'll attribute the windowboxed opening and ending to that too. Goodness, had I watched this back then I'd be younger than the protagonists instead of nearly twice their age...God I'm old. |

| As a Christmas gift, it is not bad. This anime series, I saw lots ago, dubbed in my mother tongue, but now I see the Japanese language with subtitles. The thing that leaps to the eye, is the fact that despite being an anime series with many years behind him, is still very current, with a very pleasant story in its comedy and in the parts where, on the other hand, there is the action . This anime shows in this episode to be the son of his time, in so many aspects and details: just listen to the soundtrack, and notice the camera used by Kurz Weber, just to give an example. However, it enchants for the quality of the drawings and for the chracter character design. Returning to the narrative, the first part is really intense, and may even deceive the viewer, but the second part reveals suffered a humor that makes the whole episode, quite a mixed bag, of which everyone can be satisfied. Excellent soundtrack, and very catchy the opening and ending. |

| I had never the chance to watch Full Metal Panic, but now finally I can watch it. Great start so far. From the first moment ob you could see that this is an old school anime. :D Sousukes introduction was pretty funny. Didn't knew you can use an condom also as water bottle lol. Melissa and Kurz are also really sympathic characters. So their mission is to protect Kaname from beeing kidnapped and Sousuke has become a student. He didn't seem to know much about the normal life. All these things he said before his class sounded pretty weird for the other students I would say. That scene in the changing room was so funny xD I'm really curious how this will developed. Kaname seem to be a little bit interested in Sousuke. :P |

| Lmao, who the hell doesn't think twice about bringing an actual gun to high school ... So according to the chart Kaname's mother died of cancer and her father + sister moved back to the USA. I have a feeling the nerd acting all hyped and cheery when Sousuke was talking about his hobbies and what not is going to become his best friend. Liking Sousuke's relaxed careless attitude though :D So far I only got that she may be kidnapped but not why or what makes her so valuable. |

| Honestly, I wasnt expecting to connect with this series so much in my first real contact with it... it must help that I like mecha, and this reminds me of Muv-Luv Unlimited which was kinda fun in its own merits. Then the cast is really enjoyable, and I m also watching the remastered version, so the art actually looks quite good and definitly aged well. Kana is a really enjoyable girl and Sousuke seems up to the job of delivering a very interesting MC duo alongside her. |

| Not sure how to feel about this show. It seems to be sort of ambiguous and vague (maybe on purpose) as to what is going on. Sousuke is protecting the girl from ... somebody? He has never socialized with anyone before and only knows military life...I guess? Why did he rush the girls' changing room, shove her to the floor and suddenly aim his gun at the doorway he just came through? There didn't seem to be a catalyst for his action. There wasn't any sort of signal that there might be an attacker. He just randomly went into defense mode. I dunno. I think I might like this show as it progresses, but right now, I'm undecided. |

| It took me too long to finally watch this. It's interesting! I like the characters. The main guy isn't the typical no-personality cringing wuss male protagonist you see nowadays, he is actually pretty funny. |

| Surprisingly great start, Im used to older shows moving way slower early on! The animation is also surprisingly good, the show is over 2 decades old! Power of mecha! Not even sunrise but good old gonzo. |
