| Ippo put up a really good fight despite losing at the end and everyone knows that. That doesn't mean that it wasn't disappointing to see him lose when he was so close to winning though. It's slowly getting to him despite Kumi's efforts to cheer him up... Mashiba's simply hilarious as always and Ippo and Kumi's first date was really adorable~ It was also awesome to see that all of his strongest rivals gathered together at Korakuen Hall. |

| I think this is a great comedic episode to take a break from the drama and action and for Ippo to take a break from boxing. Now we see Ippo face reality with the fact that he lost, so it seems like he'll be depressed for a while. |

| it would be actually more sad for ippo to win if he would cry a little, seeing him only depressed making me feel he stopping himself express his feelings, and from anime experience, it's more emotional and tearful when the character is crying. coach: "you are suspended from box activities for three months' ippo: "hai" *punching* xDDD wish for kumi to make more move with ippo than invite him to date. it was pretty horrible for ippo to left her alone at the haunted house. mashiba can very well be in haunted house and fit in it :p long time we haven't seen miyata, hope it's not only to be in the crowd, but to see him boxing a little. vorg vs sendo gonna be interesting, though sadly i guess the opening spoils it... but even without that, i thing sendo is more fitting to be rival for ippo. and also, he lose while being in chair rather in the middle of the match, it's only deserves him to be lost/win in rightful way. |
| Pretty sad that Ippo lost when all of his classmates and even his teacher were there for that match... lmfao at Mashiba this episode, hes hilarious. The way he stole the phone and then scared Ippo in the hauntged house were just amazing xDDD |

| Mashiba is a great character! Funny and much needed light episode. And boy, so many great fighters returning, I wonder how the next tournament/competition will turn out, I want too see all the awesome boxers introduced so far duking it out in the ring! |

| It's sad to see Ippo so depressed 😔 He's really beating himself up. When Kumi pushed Ryo I was shocked! 😲 It was cold what he said to Ippo when he's already depressed. And THEN WHEN RYO WAS IN THE HAUNTED HOUSE OMG 😂😂 |
| i shed a super manly tear when ippo apologized for losing even tho he gave it his all. this episode had all the feels. atleast kumi survived the 'hoe' allegations bc she went out with ippo even tho he lost. she's a real one. |

| Couldn't believe it. Ippo lost. got soo mad at the results but you have to make it realistic. I felt soo bad, begin to get teary eye. but GG |
| Not being able to practice for three months after losing such an important match must be terrible as you're left with only your thoughts and nothing to take your mind off them. At least in my sport (Kendo) you can go back to the hall (most of the time anyway) immediately after your tournaments. |

| Untill now I couldn't feel or sympathise with any other losses until Ippo lost. Worst thing he lost to the greedy old geyser like that. I sad but pissed; |
