which other animes have some over the top cool fights like afro samurai?
i mean, each of the fights was between two powerful beasts, it had fantastic animation and artstyle.

The only comparable thing is Samurai Champloo, with a similar setting (Afro Samurai is much more futuristic though) and hip hop culture.

I didn't really find an anime comparable to Afro Samurai. I've been watching like 10 episodes of Samurai Champloo and I can say it was kinda eewwww. :-/
