As mentioned many times before by the producers, the anime would serve as a prelude for the movie, precisely what it has done in this penultimate, and the final episode later next week. Some people fail to grasp the concept behind BLOOD-C even though it has almost finished airing, I find the lack of intelligence amongst fans disturbing. Especially when they are largely a bunch of people mimicking parrot-cries. Haha well said...Although I'll say this much...I've raised parrots for years and despite their rep for blind mimicry they are actually far more intelligent than a lot of people I have met - heehee. ;) Anyhow - so the twins turned out to be brothel running bitches, Tokizane a money grubbing asshole, and Kanako a crazy researcher obsessed with Saya. Hope they all get what's coming to them next ep. Only Yuuka seems somewhat neutral here - not sure what her angle here is and Itsuki still seems to have some genuine affection for Saya - knew there was something I liked about him despite him being the constant buttmonkey. I'm waiting to see what her "father's" real role was in this and why Fumito chose to run this sadistic experiment in the first place. Also seems like Fumito has some command of the Elder Bairns... |

| For a troll reveal, I thought that was alright: it takes into account the fakeness of the beginning, and you have a dramatic effect by showing the same characters with antagonistic personalites -- which sure in a way feels like a cheap mindfuck, but it also makes the setting more believable (a huge project like that wouldn't be using normal people). I guess the downside of this is, for a one episode reveal, you have ten episodes of mushy SOL mixed with gore, decent on their own but superficial. The unbalance might be too big imo. |

| Interesting reveal. However, there are still plenty of mysteries unsolved. I like the way Kanako groped Saya's body hehe. Tokizane real persona is crap. It's too bad he's not the quiet, badass type I thought he was. |

| Guess it really was an elaborate setup to mess with poor Saya then, all for their own ends. That said, it explains a lot of the odd behaviour and repetition from earlier. I noticed that a giant lion monster appeared and chased everyone for about five seconds before promptly disappearing offscreen and never being mentioned again. What a strange anime this is. |
