| Im re-watching this chronologically. This is the episode where Kyon and Haruri meet and start the club. Pretty nice remembering the way Haruri has of making things happen xD |

| Not sure if these episode polls are based on the Broadcast Order or Chronological Order... A friend recommended this anime to me, and also warned me about the different orders it could be watched in. Decided on Broadcast Order after reading comments elsewhere on these forums. Hilarious 1st episode (Broadcast Order, Episode 00 - The Adventures of Mikiru Asahina). Loved every minute of it. Can't wait to rewatch this episode after I get to know these characters even more! On to the next... |

| Okay i watched Episode 00 and i LOVED IT! bwahahaha i laughed so hard at all the battle scene and how stupidly acted they were X'D the effects were amazing and i loved the voice they all had X3 the narration was great 2 =D so freakin hilarious!!! |

| Haha, seeing so many complaints about Haruhi as a character I decided to re-watch this again. I immediately remembered why I find her one of the most refreshing characters in anime. She's so...eccentric, loud, obnoxious, and yet incredibly endearing. This was best shown in her "moe" speech about Mikuru, and her confidence through out. This is going to be great to re-watch. |

| So i finally got around to obtaining the DVDs to watch this, but since i'm missing the first volume i have to watch the first four episodes online. I have to say, Episode 00 is pretty damn hilarious. Episode 1 is enjoyable. I can see why tons of people like this, others hate it, and it's very iconic. |

| Wow, one episode in and it's already evident that broadcast order is the way to watch the series. The reveal of Haruhi after the film, the foreshadowing (I'm guessing) of the main cast's roles in the stories... |
| I really didn't like this episode at first. But even through the entire thing, I thought it was pretty boring. There were a couple funny moments, but nothing that made me laugh. The only part that I liked to any extent was after it exited the movie style, and showed them watching the movie, then what happens after that. |
| Don't know how this discussion thread is working since there are the people who watched it in broadcast order (which is I think most people here) and then some that are watching in chronological. This is confusing D: I'm watching it chronologically though. Well the first episode was a nice intro, definitely not the wtf reaction others got from watching broadcasting version. It was a nice introduction of Kyon and Haruhi, and basically the start of the club. Loving the way it is being directed already, the variety of angles and framing is interesting to watch, and also Kyon's narrations are funny. Overall, I had a nice laugh. |

| Am I watching this right because episode 1 is about Mikuru? There's a fucking preferred chronological order of episodes and I couldn't help myself but to get a motherfucking headache. Anyway, pretty fun episode yet this will be the last KyoAni series that I'm going to watch. |

| I'm still not sure which order the threads are in now..maybe the first post should include the title of the episode, but i'll assume it's the original broadcast order for now.. Now that i've cleared that up for myself, i can understand why people say this episode (so episode 00) might be a bit off-putting, it was defintively weird (not that "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi Part 1" would not be weird, after just having watched it to clear things up on how to watch this..). And the forced ratio fooled me at first, too. But still, it had some good laugh, that explaining of the filming was genious. |

| I am mindfucked, but by MAL users. I think I am watching this show in the "broadcast" order. Nice, I like some narration ideas and Haruhi seems fine I guess. The fastest episode I've seen of an anime, I think, both in perception and substance. |
| Tried to figure out the best order to watch this series and I think I'm going to go with the chronological order...or the broadcast order...chronological...broa- Screw it, I'm just watching it from top to bottom form the order I have it. As for the episode, nothing out of the ordinary happened, but I'm sure it will pick up the pace. |
