| @Hel: I liked how you did the hair with different different colors. Nice effect. I also like the second Hades better than the first one of hades, although the first had a different feel to it which was interesting. Here's a club picture I made. All I did was the text, drawing done by someone else. |
| thx :) I think this one looks kind of more finished than the other.. I think I should put some time into the first one again ^^ about the club pic you posted.. I'd suggest you to try putting the 'join now' between the space of his horns and wings (or whatver that black stuff is :P) and same for the rest of the text.. I think it would look better if it doesn't touch Ichigo.. though I'm not quite sure if you can make it with the space there.. |
| @Hel Thanks. Yeah, I actually noticed the same thing after I had already posted here (I was feeling too lazy to rehost another image). And so I did move the join now before I posted it in the club (which was a direct upload, no rehosting required). As far as the part touching Ichigo, I wanted the text to be as large as possible, but I see your point If you decide to redo the first one that looked more like a painting, show us here. I'm curious how it turns out. Also, consider looking into Corel Painter which has more options I think, though maybe the newer photoshop is good too. I suck worse at painting than I do at drawing so I can be of little help. Well, one or two things. The shading seems off, but I don't know how to fix that. Also, it seems like you have a couple different styles going on which might not necessarily be a bad thing, but maybe if you had a more cohesive style throughout it might be better. |

| Here's something that I was working on a few years ago but never got around to finishing. Maybe posting it here will motivate me to work on it again. It's composite of different buildings from the college I went to, Ohio State University. College Town is the actual name of one of the bookstore. The bottom half of the bookstore I replaced with a fraternity house (notice the columns). The arch to the right is from a building on campus. I need to figure out how to blend things together better. Update: The image is getting screwed up so I'm going to try posting chunks. |

Yea, I know. ^^ But I think I'm a bit stubborn when it comes to that, because I'm not interested in finding my own style. I can understand that there is also a value to having one. Yet there are artists, for example on da, who are great artists, really, but their style just takes over over everything they draw and even if they draw another pose/character and so on, it kind of always looks the same and I'm sorry, but that gets kind of boring. I like pictures with rather bold(?) coloring, but I also like detailed pictures where there was put a lot of work into careful shading and so on, as well as simple, exact pencil drawings or messy sketches. Or maybe I should say, I don't want a technique to be my style. This might be the actually problem of what I described before. (Aside that I think I can't draw as well that I should care about a style.. An own style is something that comes on it's on, with developing his/her own abilities, I think.. I don't feel like I have to waste a thought about it..) Ok, now I wrote too much o.o' @Lotus: You meant that the shading was a bit off.. that was about the painting like Hades one, not? I agree on that.. especially around the mouth I think.. well.. I gave it another try, so please tell me what you think: |

Nice delivery card, Lotus. I have 15,6" and 23" monitors for my computer, it's pretty useful when it comes to watching anime or photoshopping. |

| @Lotus The bigger monitor is from my old pc, that went broke couple of years ago. After that I decided to buy a laptop and connected the old monitor which was still in a good condition to it. We had some lessons in computer classroom, so I didn't cut off the class. Thanks for chibi-Aizen, it's very cute : 3 Today I drew Ichigo Kurosaki, but it's not finished yet, so I post it when it's done. |

| Well... its cause it was too light when i took the photo that you couldnt see it at all... So i just darkened it a bit it Photoshop ^^' thats why it got blue... no idea why its blue thou XD But thanks :D Love your edited Totoro pics too :P Got a shirt with that big smiley face :D |
