| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ----------------------------------------  And so the manga adaptation has ended. I must say that Homura looks much better with this hairstyle than the one she was wearing in anime. In manga version we got clearer view of new Madoka's form. It's the same as in anime version. Also, Cleopatra and Jeanne d'Arc were hinted to once have been Puella Magi. It's the same as in anime version so no big surprise. Still, it's nice touch. All in all, I enjoyed this manga whole-heartily. It told the same story as anime version but had some minor changes. Without a doubt I give 10/10. |

| This ending is very problematic for me. Madoka ended witches, but that didn’t stop the need for magic girls or the fact that evil still prays on the innocent. This fact subverts the hope that Madoka brought, but the manga and the anime acts like it doesn’t. This story has so much potential for discussion, but it feels like it doesn’t want to pursue it. |

Hence why there was the Rebellion movie, and plans for a sequel, though as for now put on hold due to the god damn COVID19 shit going on as of right now. |
