| Gaming adventures? Well my name has appeared in the credits of one product at least :) Was part of the team that did Mega Campaign Screaming Eagles for the Matrix Games edition of Steel Panthers (squad tactical level PC wargame). Have done uncredited beta work on some others as well. And I am proud to say they were invites not requests to join ie they asked me. I don't play MMOs as they look boring and seem to be more a chat medium with a game attached. I don't do shooters as they seem to be too much like what I grew out of in the 80s. I loathe RTS games (personal thing hehe). I don't hate real time, I just hate the fans that think turns are not 'realistic'. I generally play games with turns, I tend to play strategy titles, primarily recreations of military events. But I like Civilization and Heroes of Might and Magic a lot too. I own a Nintendo DS XL and think the 3DS is a waste of money and they should have made the thing as big as the XL. I've been 'thinking' of getting a Xoom, but in the end, it depends on what it can do other than display a book page or a web page. 600 bucks is a lot for an adult equal to a Nintendo DS :) Funny is hearing my son has dumped World of Warcraft because of the damned teens :) He's big into Starcraft 2 these days. Most of my gaming is influenced by how I consider real gaming to be something you do on a table. Thus, I play REAL role playing games (lots of designs in the past but today it's Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2nd edition). I have a complete set of ASL (Advanced Squad Leader, and the most complex expensive board game ever made). |

| Gaming is, was and probably always will be a big part of my life, be it online or offline chances are I'll be playing some kind of game at any given time of the day. These days I don't play as competitively as I used to but when I did I earned a couple of tournament wins on a few console games, unfortunately not for cash because not many console games are supported and it takes a community to organise and run tournaments. These past few weeks I've had marathons on WoW, Fallout: New Vegas and now am in the middle of a Pharaoh craze, which is a city building sim. I'm a fan of pretty much any type of game and not really sure I have a favourite genre but RPG's, City Builders, adventure are typically what I play most. I own a PC, PS3 and a DS right now, been planning on getting a 360 for a while but money's short. | Thanks for opening Bill....fall asleep yesterday^^ I own a PC and like to play shooter, strategy, sports and card games. Currently I play a lot of Cross Fire which is a free CounterStrike online double. I was also a moderate Half Life 2 Deathmatch player. I really like to play Soccer games, like PES, too. In past I was a member of the best German and top 3 ranked clan in PES 6 ....which is imo up to now the King of soccer games (with patches). Games like Age of Empires 3 or other ones like Portal 2, Mirrors Edge, YuGiOh or Virtua Tennis I play offline and not really good, because I havent enough time to get skills in all games that I play. btw: I really like the pic in the first post. |
| Funny game moments. My son at one point wanted to play Yu Gi Oh the card game (actual not virtual). Ok so I get the game for us and I have a Kyber deck. But wait son, I expect to read the RULES first. Son was impatient as hell, but NOPE this is not the TV show kiddo. Soooo we read and read and read and finally it is play time. Whooped his butt the first 4 games. Sorry son, I refuse to let you win till you earn it. He won the 5th game and was a lot happier about the game after that. But like most young teens (as he was at the time) his interest was transitory. I still have my cards as it is actually a fun game. It requires you fully read the rules though and fully read your cards. Which means a lot of reading so you won't interest any kids that were not brought up to value reading. |

| So many lovely gamers here... I no longer feel lonely <3 I'm quite a vivid gamer, and maybe a bit elitist on certain games. I often play online games like battlefield and call of duty, and am actually pretty good at it. (Don't worry I'm not the guy who yells "LOL NOOB" and stuff like that...) I also really enjoyed Portal and portal 2 of course xD! But most of my time is on MMORPG. I played Wow, was a high dps warlock but quite after 2 years due boredom. I play Eve Online, am one of the highest SP characters in game, way overpowered and actually a bit infamous as well. Although I barely play that game, it enriched my life for nearly 6 vivid years. Now I am a vivid and serious roleplayer on FFXIV. The game doesn't have much content so I enjoy writing my own storyline and such. I love the game and will play it for years to come afterwards! I also play single games like Stepmania and the RPG's/adventures on the Xbox, Wii and DS. My gaming style usually is the calm and passive one. I don't like smacktalk much and keep away from it... | I was a WoW nerd for the better part of 5 years. I played every major expansion and was part of endgame for all of it. When arenas came out I was playing them competitively when they mattered. I got as close as being 2nd in 2v2 on my battlegroup, but had it stolen away by people who payed better players to play their accounts for the top title. I've played my fair share of FPS games too. Modern Warfare 1 and 2 held me for a few months, as did Medal of Honor. I'm kinda looking forward to BF3, but I haven't really decided if I'm going to pick it up or not. Since I quit WoW back in Feb. I've been kinda in a MMO/gaming lul. I haven't found anything that peaks my interest yet so I'm kinda just surfing around social sites and catching up on reading/watching some Manga and Anime. I am sort of looking forward to the closed/open betas for Rusty Hearts and Raiderz. Something to bide my time till GW2 or Tera finally get released. |

This game is both soooo amazing and frustrating too. I don't have a joystick right now, so it's not easy to play it with my keyboard, I think it's almost impossible. I have trouble when trying to turn her around and run at the same time. Those fuckin' shooters make me sooo anxious!!! I wanted to just do parkour around the city without anyone chasing me! Am I asking for too much?! haha xD Btw I always LoVeD Age of Empires!! I owned all 3 editions, I've been following from the start. I was a big fan of Sims too! It's what got me into the whole designing thing. I love Sim City as well, although it's not a game for kids.. it's pretty hard doing all the financial stuff! Anyway, generally I like games, although lately I don't have much time to play big games. I just play other ones like cards (poker on FB..lol), older arcade games i find, etc.. |

I got a gamepad but ...dunno the only game i can play with it is the Madden series...in other games for example PES I cant run in that way i want to be...on the one hand its funny for my opposiite or friend whos playing with/against me, on the other hand its really sad to me -.- I think Im just a son of the keybord!^^..I accepted that. To Mirrors Edge....yes I hate the story in a certain way cuz they shot me down instantly....I like the tutorial at the beginning the most. =D=D And AoE is still banger! I havent played the 1st one exactly but 2 and 3 with all addons and I coudlnt decide which is better. Only the limit of 200 units is just annoying. I wanna fight epic battles and not these little scraps....but ok. @Lumikki Do you know what games you want to download in future? "Anno" is a great game series, too. I played all editions and Im really excited about the new one which takes place in future the first time...up to now I cant really decide if I should take my thumbs up or down...only waiting will help me out to clear this question. |

| @justice thank you!! ofc i was only following your lead and example, fearless leader but i think i'm getting the hang too =D and i play Mirror's Edge too!! i have it on XBOX so it's prob easier to control than with a keyboard. i'm not as much of a gamer as i used to be but i love the Fable series, Mass Effect, the Bioshock series (reaaallly love that one!!), and some of the action/RPG hybrids like that out there. Also Shadow of the Colossus is an all time great!! for action types, games like God of War, Darksiders, Castlevania series, Gears of War, Legacy of Kain, Prince of Persia (not the one with Gyllenthall on the cover tho, out of mere principal), and Unreal Tournament among others. with RPGs, i stick with a few mainstream, like obv the FF series (VII, VIII, X, and XII FTW), but also love Eternal Sonata even though i'm stuck in fighting random enemies to build up levels because the next Boss is a hardass mode *yawn* also a few just fun type games like Alien Hominid (too fun =D ) and Mini-Ninjas. don't do much with PC, mostly because i'm shitty with a keyboard and mouse with gaming unless it's sth like click and squash games. |

Final Fantasy XI, DOA, Second Life, Diablo, Resdent Evil 5 Games not online. Top 5 are Final Fantasy, Zelda, Resdent Evil Series of games, Lunar Silver Star Story, Grandia II Favorite Shooters. FallOut. Action. Bayonetta is pretty cool, Dantes inferno, RE Games. @Bill I love Shadows of Colossus and RPGs are my favorite type of game. Anyone want to add me on PS3 or Xbox Live Tagger name is. | @ Lumikki My current free games, which I play are: Crossfire (Shooter like Counterstrike, where u can create your own char and "buy" some new equip and weapons with gp, which is the currency in the game), ShotOnline (Golfgame, where u can create and manage ur own avatar etc), Half Life 2 DM (Shooter with some pretty cool sci fi weapons) I dont know the size for the games cuz they wont show, but I think max 5-8gb. other popular free games are: Trackmania Nations (pretty cool racing game with spectacular and freaky Speedways), Lord of the Rings Online (the biggest one in our round with ca 10gb...too big i think) and of course League of Legends, which is similiar to WOW. ShotOnline and/or Trackmania Nations must be the smallest ones. I think thats enough for now....but if there any questions or there wasnt a game which is equivalent to you feel free to comment. |
Quick quality test I done to test out a recording program I'm thinking of buying. Game is Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition PC Version, program used to record is FRAPS. Took me two hours to upload all 17 seconds. I think it turned out well :D |

| Tend to play a mix of games on console (PS3) and on PC, although I only have a laptop so I can't really run all that much. I like variety so I'll be constantly shifting between different genres of game depending on what I feel like playing, although I do seem to focus on shooters and RPGs, with a little bit of platforming included and the occational racer. I also spend quite a lot of time playing fighting games with friends both locally and online, although it tends to end up with a lot of rage going on between us :P. Games I've been playing recently include: Quake Portal 2 Blazblue -Continuum Shift- Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice Team Fortress 2 Spiral Knights Dead Nation WipEout HD various Touhou games and other Shmups like Gundemonium and fanmade ones Plan on picking up Arcana Heart 3 and Skullgirls when I can, so I'll likely have more games to play online :P. If anyone wants to add me, feel free. Playfire Steam PSN ID: Seasonreaper or Starlight_Nanoha I'll probably be on Seasonreaper unless I'm playing WipEout or Killzone 2, so unless you want to play them there's not much point in adding me on my secondary for competitive purposes. |

| I used to play video games with my cousins on Playstation (like those racing and shooting games. oh and Mario of course! my fav!!), but my pride couldn't handle being in last place all the time and being laughed at. xD After a while, I was reccomended to this MMORPG game called Asda Story online. Anyone ever heard of it? I loved the graphics in it, and used to play it everyday. Even though I was a complete newb, I was able to pick up on things fast. But alas, nothing changed. I still sucked and always got killed rather fast on missions lol. I still enjoyed it though. After getting a new Laptop, I just never got around to downloading it again. Here's a video. Oh and I was a Wizzard. ^_^ I got up to lvl 31 I think it was. |
| I can post picks of my Final Fantasy Characters when i get home. I got a lvl 90 Monk, Thief,Dragoon,Beastmaster,Redmage,75 Summoner 70 Ninja, 69 white mage, more... and so on and on... i have like 2 characters. Other Character is a 75 summoner, 66 samurai, 70 white mage. Yea i spent alot of time on Final Fantasy XI and id still be playing if my modem wouldnt have died. These new modems they gave me just dont cut it open ports done everything and still only lets me on for about 5 mins and kicks me. ;p There getting ready to open up to where you can go to 95 next month. Ill be on the new one coming out next month to for my PS3 thats if i can get my modem working again...*wants to bash it with a baseball bat* |

| oh no all FPS on 360 xbox controller way better for FPS than PS3. black ops isnt great but its not as bad as a lot of ppl make it out to be. i still play with a lot of my high school friends on live. tho it seems like treyarch likes to fuck their game over themselves. like how they took second chance off some of their hardcore game types which is really stupid to me. not to mention they are really bad at making good maps. i think out of all of the black ops maps their is only maybe 5 maps i actually like to play which is sad. |

Having played UC2 for all of it's lifespan I hates it at first but it grew on me and as a standalone game it's really good. Like UC2 it'll be the best game to play online and offline on PS3 for the next year or two. CoD sucks hard. |

| I need to try out the U3 beta when I get the chance, U2 was pretty fun although I didn't play it much. CoD hasn't been worth playing since 4. W@W was broken whilst MW2 and Black Ops are just terrible games, both in single player and online. |
| Beta ended last week :P I didn't play it that much myself as I found it a bit repetitive with only a couple maps, that and it was a bit too easy for me :P |

| very cool I had pictures of my Summoner but when my Hardrive crashed back in Dec. i lost all my pictures on my Laptop. Im a big on Jobs that do with Summoning and animals. Bad enough i lvled Summoner 2 times to 75 before the limit break broke to go to 75-80,80-85, 85-90. For years in FFXI you could only go to 75 till like 2 years ago. Beastmaster on FFXI is about one of the pimpest jobs around where it can take 4-6 people or more to kill a mob and you can walk up and do it solo. Which thats one thing i like about lvling Beastmaster. Stuff that would take a whole alliance of people to do 12-18 you could do it with 2-3 Beastmasters. Aswell Monks are my favorite jobs to play as on FFXI its lvl 90 to and its so cool because i love up close fighting to hand to hand combat. |

| @Corsair I will i have 14 pre ordered already for 2 years now... but its so bad at the moment it sucks. Its free as of right now till Nov. because it was horrible. No Auction House, You could only level 1 hour then half to switch jobs to be able to level again, there as alot more problems with it to the point they Fired all there working staff on it and hired new staff to remake the game and have it out by Nov. It was that bad... I got the PC version its just my Laptop cant run it and i got to replace the power cord in my Desktop before i can play it which shouldnt to bad. Ive got it for PS3 which ill probably play on it instead of PC. The things i do like about FF14 is that you can customize your Character the way you want it like can have Anime color hair your own size there is like 20 different hair styles. They even brought out Race color to which is cool thing i think. They really did good on that part of the game making and should leave it alone i think. |

| @Static We had summoners too (actually called conjurers though). One of the other "charmie" careers was called Unlife (career is a subclass) which was a type of necromancer that could raise zombies. Another cool necromancer career was Assassin which was sort like a monk/wizard. |
| @ Lotus Ah i liked the thing like that when you played Diablo where you could raise Skeletons and stuff that was really cool. Its been years since i played that game. I was a Assassin to on Diablo aswell XD. Charmie would be a nice job id like to play as can go play WoW with Mr T and his Mohawk XD... haha, Ever see his Wow Ad? It was so funny! |
