Reading the [Wiki] page for all things Boogiepop has me impressed with this franchise's impact and influence.

So this is the one that kick started the light novel craze, possibly even influencing recent hits like Baccano.

I'm kind of disappointed that its been two years since the last English translation of the novels, I really want to read them!

New installations + reprints of the light novels are coming out this year :)

You should read what's out, and the manga too.

Been into boogiepop for a very long time, big fan.

Don't know what your feelings are about buying online, but I just ran into some of the Boogiepop novels (English translation) on Amazon selling for less than $5.00 including shipping (to the US and in US dollars, at least... I don't know where you currently reside). It was the Vs. Imaginator books I found in particular, but others are there too.

Then again, you may have already found them.
