| Maaaaaaaan I love back stories!!!! Thou the episode was nto filled with action like the two previous ones, the action scenes it had were worthwhile and the whole talk about the rules of The War of The Holy Grail were throughoutly explained for anyone to understand them.... Thou the Origin of the magic, the Holy Frail and the Servants is not clearly known yet, we know now why all this stuff is happening... That's enough for me to make me happy and realize that in this fantastic/supernaatural world exist things such as powerful things to grant you any wish you want.... Nice Premise.... | I'm glad Emiya doesn't seem like a huge weenie like I thought he would be, thank goodness. But I'm still iffy on the show in general, I don't know if I'm supposed to know "why" this battle is taking place anyway, besides gaining the holy grail. Why is it a tradition anyway? Idk. Saber seems to be really interesting, I like her so far. Episode was pretty boring though. Glad Rin's there<3 |

| So far this show is reminding me of everything I hated about Toaru Majutsu no Index -- mounds of boring exposition about the bizarro magical religion everyone is wrapped up in. Hopefully it will separate itself from Index by not throwing in a whole lot more of these longwinded explanation sections throughout the series. Also, the dub dialogue for Kirei Kotomine's speech to Emiya is pretty stupidly inconsistant: "If you truly want to give up your status as master your only option is to obtain the grail and make your wish." Then later... "This is your last chance, Shiro Emia. Time to decide -- will you or will you not be a master in the holy grail wars?" |

| A decent episode full of information, I disliked these kind of informative episodes in the prequel but this seemed to be right so early in the beginning, especially the end preparing us for a massive battle as the Servant from Ilya seems quite strong, could the servant be Berserker or is this a new servant? |

| Watching this after completing the game... it is actually pretty nice to see those scenes in motion :) (though they are moving through story pretty fast.. but I get it why - Fate storyarc alone does have about 60-70 hours of gameplay (mostly voiced) and this series is only around 9 hours (24eps) long. But they are having every important part in the anime so far. |

| well saber is really agresive in this episode.. she just attacking archer without telling shirou.. dont know because she think shirou is stupid or what XD btw too much talking there is some that I dont understand but thats okay :/ rin is blushing if im not wrong in this episode.. finally got some cute in this anime for the first time :3 ilya appear yey yeah! she look badass.. totally diferrent with f/z :( |
