| This anime is based on Blood: The Last Vampire movie just as Blood+ was. You might see it as alternative retelling of Blood+ but it's more like different anime from similar to Blood+'s universe. It has same director as Blood+ had but it's being made by CLAMP thus characters , Saya is pretty different, at least visually. | As I have heard, C and + are not directly related, they are just supposed to be of the same Blood (Brand Name) universe, obviously the lines are there for you to draw yourself, personally, I just want to hope that Saya from + makes some sort of appearance and the animes are linked. |

| I was kinda shocked about hearing this. I guess I'll Rewatch Blood+ again before watching this. Even if this is a Retelling (Like FMA Brotherhood was to FMA and Negima!? was to Mahou Sensei Negima!) it won't hurt to rewatch it. Edit: Reading Under the Blood+ Manga Synopsis it says: (This manga series is proceeding quite a bit differently from the anime) So it easily could be a Reboot/Retelling. I wouldn't mind that. Easily Better Quality and Animation (not saying Blood+ was bad, just quality got better over time). |

| As much as I liked Haji and his freaking amazing cello he's just not gonna be in the show, it just wouldn't make sense for him to be there, I think CLAMP is going to try to keep the ties between the series to a minimum. |

| Saya is a bit...different. The glasses just came out of nowhere. I dunno. I can't judge yet until I see more of her. I am myself a Blood+ and Blood movie fan. I hope this series will be fun to watch. |
