| It's kinda hard to make suggestions for me since I've never been or seen any other club in MAL. I think all it matters is for people to express their thoughts and be more active. |

I sort of had thought about it. I might start sth like that soon, announcing new topics. But sending too many of those might become annoying, so we have to be careful about it. If you want to start one yourself, feel free to do so! It would help big time! |

| I looked at the topics of the threads and the only one I really saw was about Sci-Fi. What if every month or so you make a top list of anime for one genre? You could spend the month, or however long it takes really, to discuss the anime for that genre and rank them. I'd say top 5 for each genre, and try to come to a general consensus on the order. They'd have to be completed series as well, and maybe a couple of years old to make sure they have sticking power and aren't just known because they're new.. Just to throw out some quick genres, Mecha - Seinen - Fantasy - Romance - Action - Slice of life - Comedy - Tournament - Adventure, etc. Talk about why you like it, its strong points and weak points, what kind of impact it has on the viewer, rewatch value, and why it should fit into the top 5 of that category. Of course it'd be best to select or pick a category (much like you're doing with the music anthology project) that most people have knowledge of and can contribute. Also, and I don't know if anyone would be interested in it as there are other clubs around for it I assume, but a kind of group viewing for anime. For instance, you watch 3-4 episodes of a series a week, come back on a certain day and start discussion. It helps to keep viewing in moderation so you don't plow through a series, and others insights could help you to better understand what's going on or look at it in another light. I've seen it attempted before, but there ended up being 2-3 people participating and it grew rather boring and was eventually canned. edit: preferably series with 26 or less episodes. edit2: spelling their instead of there |

| Thank you TWM! You gave me some great ideas to work with!! :D I'll try to think how to organise the anime theme thread. Then I'm thinking of somehow creating a team where we will be viewing only the ongoing anime and each one of us will choose to watch certain anime and then make a small review on each one after the episode ends. Don't know how we could organise that, but I'm working on it in my head right now. What do you think? |

| I don't know how much this matters but I usually do episode reviews (to the best I can depending on some factors) and keep track of my thoughts for when I do a full review at the end of the anime. It actually helps to bring up a few points that I may have forgotten after going through and completing it. Which can take me awhile sometimes. However I don't think I've followed through with any of the current airing new anime since Late '09 or Early '10 seasons. About the watching the ongoing, or new to the season anime. They could be split up in seasons, and after 3-4 episodes (when you've got a better understanding of the series, they should have clued the viewer in by then if it is a 13-26 series) post their thoughts. Or even by each episode. |

| @lotus yeah that sounds cool to me. like you said the first bunch haven't been finished yet, but it's never too early to prepare ahead. btw surprised there hasn't been more clamoring for the cards to be done yet...seeing as how much some people in some other clubs bitch about it...i guess we do have a patient and polite bunch here...good!! |

| Thank you guys!! I really appreciate that!! Whatever you think you can do, feel free to do so, as answering questions, opening up threads, closing voting threads if i'm not around, etc. Bill, as a club's officer, you don't have to ask for my permission each time. You have the authority to do more things than a simple member, so feel free to do so, I srsly won't judge, I'll only feel much releaved. So you can speak on my behalf in members' questions about a contest we have, cards , games, etc. Lumikki, I know it must be too much to ask, but if you think you have a lil more time to spare, I would suggest you become an officer too, since you're an active member with good ideas, the club is growing and we are in need of more people handling things around. But don't feel pressured! You can still help as a member! ;) |

I was not big on legos at one time i had over 300 Ninja Turtle Figures XD and im serious i did... >.> sold them all to get a PS when they first came out i wanted one so bad lol. Ive heard they where making a Remake of Masters of the Universe. Smurfs come out in afew months wonder if its going to be good i mean how can you take them away from a Forest and put them in the world of now and be like okay? | @lumikki i think...and keep in mind i'm not really sure, but i think a club officer can delete all comments and pictures and things like that while an admin can actually get in coding and change the page and stuff...i think @static shit i forgot about the turtles! had a bunch of them too. and yeah the smurfs things sounds like a bad idea to me too. sounds like they've kinda bastardized the whole story behind it. |
