| Hi there everyone ! And thank you billmurderface for the invite. (also, i love the "big kids" instead of "adults" in the ban xD) So my name is Houda, i'm 21, college student and i'm from Casablanca in Morocco. My native language is arabic but i also speak french and english (well this one isn't that great so sorry if i make mistakes sometimes). I read/watch every kind of mangas/anime as long as i like the story and the drawing/graphics aren't very ugly, My all time favourite manga is Saiyuki (and not only because it's full with bishis haha). I like stories which involve other worlds than ours or other periods of times better (12 kingdoms, Angel Sanctuary, Escaflowne, Seirei no Moribito, Berserk...) so feel free to recommend some i haven't watched yet if you want. I hope we all get along ^^ |

| justice i said the same thing about the movie too. apparently a few years ago they opened a real "Rick's Cafe" there after the movie. always wanted to see morocco, and if i do i have to go to "Rick's" =D |

| I guess I should finally get down and introduce myself, since I've been lurking around for the past week or so. Name's Pierce and I'm 21, just finished doing a degree and have spent much time at my Uni's anime society watching new things and recommending stuff to people :). Whilst I watched a little of DBZ, Pokemon and Cardcaptors when I was younger I didn't really get into anime until I watched Elfen Lied back in 2007 and thought it was the best thing ever. Since then I've seen better stuff, but I'll always see it as the series that got me to see how good anime could be. Generally tend to prefer seinen demographic shows or at least those with a more mature plot, although I do tend to dip into pretty much everything. Despite preferring these types of show you'll probably see me watching magical girl shows aimed at young girls occasionally but hey, that's just how I work :D. Generally if a show has good characters and, when necessary, plot, then I'll enjoy it, as long as they don't decide to randomly insert fanservice everywhere where it's out of place, because that tends to really irritate me. |

| The United Kingdom refers to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as a collective, not the Republic of Ireland. Don't mean to sound narky or anything but I'd prefer if we weren't just seen as a part of the UK. |
