| The plot does remain pretty confusing and unexplained throughout the whole thing, which is a pretty big downfall of the series. It does have the best CG I've ever seen though. |

| Reminds me of the tokusatsu GARO.... Since I am a big fan of tokusatsu (Kamen Rider), I enjoy watching this series. I don't find the story too confusing because I understand the principle of all "henshin" superhero series very well. Personally, I find it not as confusing as others said it is... However, for someone that don't know about this genre, it will be WTF... |

| I thought the CG was pretty appropriate, this was one of the only anime that successfully incorporated CG without looking foolish. But the fact that the first eps reveals no plot whatsoever doesn't help And is it just me or do the characters look kind of similar to one another? Other than the main characters, everyone else looks kind of similar |

| Read the synopsis if you just started watching this show (like after the first or second ep.) It greatly helps makes things clear and more enjoyable. It's an unfortunately required fix but a small price to pay for a great OVA. |

| This was terribly mind fuck-ish. Nevertheless, the basis is set for an epic supernatural tale. I sure hope things will start making sense in the next episode. The graphics are indeed fantastic. |

| Waste of animation and directing. They could've at least TRIED to have a story that didn't feel like a whole load of different crap slapped together with glue and staples. That said, I'll watch the rest. It can definitely become awesome. |

| 50 seconds into the episode..holy shit, spectacular fight scenes already. Wow. Anyways, pretty intense stuff. I'm not sure if I understood everything that happened but so far, it looks pretty good. |

| On my rewatch, this doesn't seem nearly as nonsensical. I also went through way more Supernatural stuff since I first watched it, and now it seems like a really good piece. I guess the director never intended it for the casual audience. |

| Bullshit! That was fucking bullshit! But who the fuck cares because THAT WAS FREAKING AWESOME (except the slow-mo parts. It's ARISE all over again) So obviously, ep1 shows with action, that there are the usual demons (in this case, youkai) who terrorise the city, and it's up to the hero to cut them down. Though they also live alongside some. Sounds basic enough. So what the actual fuck was hard to understand about that, huh retards |

| You know, I'm not a huge of the CGI in anime nowadays but seeing as how CGI-heavy some shows in the early 2000s were, I'm genuinely shocked that that isn't the norm for most anime in modern times. As for the episode, I understood nothing. The CGI looked good for the most part but it was so obviously directed like someone with the worst case of Parkinson's was holding the camera because they didn't want to spend too much time looking the CGI. |
| I feel like even if it's only the first episode, there was a better way to set the plot. Because I will concur with the confusing comments. I'm hoping the next episodes will be clearer and clear things up. I'm not that used to CGI but this one doesn't look bad. |

| Simple plot with a great visual presentation (as expected from the great Kenji Nakamura who helmed this episode). The fighting scenes are obviously high quality, I don't mind them. Neutral, I'd say. Certainly can rival modern action productions utilizing CGI, I guess. Though it kinda looks like a cutscene from a videogame lol. |
| Damn, that armor looks badass! I can't ever imagine myself using public restrooms ever. Before I travel, I make sure to take a shit and eat the bare minimum. Action looks cool so far. |
| This was confusing but I think I understand atleast the gist of the plot and what's going on. Seems like there are demons residing in Shinjuku which aren't visible to the naked eye. And this Karas guy, controlled by Yukine is tasked with killing them perhaps. Really loved the over the top action and CG scenes. Tbvh I would like to see even more CG fights in the coming episodes. Let's see how this goes. |
