Maybe he's holding princess Emeraude hostage so he can "drain" her magic power and use it to get into earth. After all, Emeraude was able to bring the girls into Cephiro, so she's probably able to transport people back onto earth as well. So Caldina was only here for like, 3 episodes, and now she's no longer a bad guy. Poor Fuu, being forced to slice up her friends :( They sure reused a lot of frames in that episode. geez o_o |

| Maybe Zagato has been cursed and must destroy Cephiro in order to return to his origin world, or maybe he put Cephiro in danger to intentionally invoke the legend of the Magic Knights because he needs them to fight him for some reason. It's hard to say what it actually could be, but the show could definitely do something interesting with all that. Caldina was cleared as an antagonist pretty quickly. |

| Too bad one of the girls isn't susceptible to the yuri. I have no idea why Caldina was so eager to show off her body this episode. You'd think she wouldn't even bother considering her opponents. I can't even begin to speculate on Zagato's motives, mostly because he's hardly been in it. But, the one scene, a couple episodes back, where he was conversing with Emeraude after she saved the girls makes it seem like defeating the Magic Knights won't affect his plan one way or another. |
