| The beginning reminded me of Elfen Lied, just 1000 times less cool. Some things were different from the manga, as was to be expected, but I think they tried to cram too much into this episode. Pacing seemed odd too. I don't think I'd have a good impression of the show after the first episode if I had not read the manga. And the ecchiness was toned down quite a bit. Meh, it was ok. I was expecting more. Also not a fan of Tachibana Shinnosuke as "Minato". |

| Overall the first episode was good. The ecchiness was about the same as the manga. I agree with "Sutiivu" there was to much crammed into one episode. I'm thinking it might be a 24 episode series b/c I can't see it being any shorter |
| First ep was alright. Well i don't really understand japanese, but after reading the manga i pretty much understood what was going on. I don't think that this is a going to be that good of an anime afterall. Yukari didn't make an appearance nor was she in the op. So i believe this may be 13 eps. |
| An OK first episode. Lots of filler, but at least things weren't pushed onto you too fast. Excuse me if I miss out on some things. Editing and understanding the episode at the same time does that. :S The small loli-chubby girl reminds me of the kids from "Manabi Straight!". And the OP reminds me of "Baby Tears", from the "Sky Girls OVA". :P |

| The first episode was great, as expected from this series... Well, it could use some more fanservice... But I give it 5 out of 5, anyways. As for the episode count, ANN said only that they have the titles of 13 episodes, not that it will have 13 episodes... But if it will be so short, I wonder how can they pack this awesomeness from the manga... EDIT: Hm, looks like it is 13 episodes after all... And his sister isn't on the character page... darn... this will be awfully cut as far as i see... |

But I don't see a 24 episode run for Sekirei. Yukari is in it, played by Asumi Kana. |

| Well 12 or 13 episodes seems short if it follows the manga storyline. If it ends up being 12 or 13 episodes I'm sure there will be a season two (assuming this one does well) |
| I think it will be divided to stages/seasons because I just can't imagine having the whole manga animated in 12-13 episodes even if they take out some side stories, maybe in a 22-26 episode show but not less. |

| Just watched the 1st episode and I'm fairly impressed by how they adapted it. It was pretty fast-paced and some things were skipped out but overall the level of ecchi-ness was acceptable, the choices of Voice Actors are great so far and the animation quality was adequate. | I only watched this because it was the first fansub of the anime season. To me, ecchi is no substitute for characters, storyline, and overall quality. It got old really quickly. 5/10 because that one director guy was marginally amusing. Not amusing enough to get me sit through another episode, though. |

| Finally got arround to posting here again, well i thought the first ep could have had a bit more impact though i cannot complain to much, the artwork was amazing and matched the manga art, some a but better. Though the voices are soso i had a different vocals in my head but these work 2. I would say 4/5 on the first ep. |

| watched the first episode and I have mixed fews on it. The opening scene showed promise (I was slightly remined of the first episode of Elfen Lied), but then the title sequence came and the rest of the episode followed. Fact is, I don't like overly extreme fanservice...but the storyline that the fist episode gives us for the series sounds good. I'll watch a few more episodes first before making my final decision on this one. |

| I didn't expect much either and it still managed to disappoint me. The first third of the episode was so unoriginal and the rest seemed to be your typical stupid-ecchi. Let's see if it gets better. |

| Kind of an odd series. I really liked the first few minutes then it kind of went downhill. Will watch a couple more to see if it stays the same or actually builds up. |

| damn... an amazing voice casting team, if only they were given the right roles... like, this is one of the few shows with so much voice talent, but they were given the wrong roles... it would be like, making kugimiya rie voice some macho well, it was good, the intro was reminicent of elfen lied, but i didnt like how they over echhi-fied (lol, engrish?) bits of it, like the orgasmic winging - reminded me of toloveru's transformation scene, as neither of the two were that extreme in the manga. |

| I was actually pretty impressed with the anime adaptation, I was worried it would be another To-LOVE-Ru. The animation was pretty solid, the voice actors were believable, and the action scenes were actually interesting to watch. Of course the plot is fairly predictable, it's an ecchi anime after all, but I think so far the show is looking just fine. |

| well, ok episode, but I'm expecting some made up bad ending,I dun think the first scene was in the manga in the very beginning, the kid yu was holding looked like minato and I dun think it was like that in the manga, I just hope something horrible like rosario vampire happens with this anime, but so far, despite the changes they've made, it looks ok. |

| Seems like its gonna be a good series. Story kinda felt like Gash Bell..but obviously more echhi xP. |

| As a bunch of people already said, Musubi's voice was pretty surprising, but I was able to get used to it pretty fast. So, I thought the episode was pretty good, but I hope they don't make it too much different from the manga... |
