Only manga readers feel it like that because they know the events and want to see them animated and maybe a few annoying people who just get bored and nug whenever they hear a dialog and they should probably jut stick to crazy eventful comedies and action where things blow-up all the time. I found this episode quite exciting since their manga serialization fight really reached a new understanding. It looks like now they have a target and they also know what they lag or what doesn't fit them. It really was very enlightening for them and for us watching the whole way this procedure goes. I kind of had a question though. I noticed that there problem was that the stories and main characters were too deep and grown-up staff. It seems like Jack was looking for the more typical; shounen over-optimistic boy we see in many shounen stories but they can't do that because when they tried the stories where to typical and had no little twist that will make them more addictive while still keeping that shounen manga typical profile. Isn't there any other manga magazine that publishes more complex stories in Japan? It striked me really bad that they are killing creative awesome stories and basically forcing all the creators on there magazine to create another variation of Goku. Or did they sign something promising to make their first work for that magazine? safena said: Kaya is so hot You are right there. While she was at their studio she looked exceptionally hot. | Hmm. They are not allowed to use Jump. But they can clearly use naruto, bleach and one piece on screen. I agree with Hattori they don't have to aim for the general audience. Makes me wonder. This manga is about two guys trying to make a hit manga. Must be hard for the author to write so many stories for the two protagonist. |

Wow. Takagi goes from punching some dude out for insulting his bro, to getting bullied into a relationship in the span of 3 episodes. The episode on the whole was funny. I especially liked the editor's face when he told them all the works they brought him were terrible.  |

| It was a good episode. It was nice that they showed us how is it inside SJ but I was expecting the peoples to be agitated that the manuscripts aren't ready for the time limits, that's how I imagined to be. Also I liked that the judges were real magakas, this makes to be more realistic and the Editor in Chief was great being so honest on how he feels about their script. Kaya's a nice girl making cofee, bringing groceries for them. I really liked Hattori's passion for the duo and I couldn't believe that they only need 20% to think as a hit. |

| I thought that episode was VERY interesting and entertaining. I don't agree with the complaints about it being "boring".... The Editor in Chief was awesome and it was interesting to see how he and Mashiro's uncle knew each other. ...next ep looks kinda dramatic.. 0_o |

| I like the pacing. I don't like how so many anime's skip scenes. For example if a character is going to a new location the scene will suddenly switch from one location to the next in a lot of shows. There have been a few instances in this showing the characters actually traveling. |

I've seen plenty of Mashiro complaints in manga threads. Most people seem to agree that story focusing on Mashiro is much less interesting than Takagi, and that the Mashiro + Azuki relationship is frankly stupid. I'd be in agreement with that. Still not pleased with the pacing, but I guess it really is just knowing the manga beforehand because apparently everyone who hasn't read it has no pacing problems at all. Decent ep, with the best part easily being Miyoshi. I don't remember her being that hot in the manga at all, damn. |

Lol at "cult" XD Mashiro still kind of bothers me, always comparing them to other people (feels like my parents ... -_-"). Oh well, he wasn't too bad this episode. Kaya is swinging between "dont' like" and "funny" for me ... meh, whatever :P Takagi is still the best XD |
| Very good episode indeed. I love it when Kaya seems to be all over Takagi. Takagi was a bit mean though, refusing those tickets. I would date her any day. She is so cute! Kaya in their workplace seems fresh breath of air. I will be happy to see her more in there from now on. <3 Next episode preview: February 13th: Deadline for NEXT! and February 14th: Chocolate! Takagi seriously did it now, making Kaya cry on Valentine's day and in front of everyone too. :( |

| The main problem with this show, I think, is that it's more story driven than anything else. Because of this, if you only see one episode (or read one chapter) a week, it feels like it's very slow when in fact it's not. But still good episode. |
