| So Moritaka and Miho won't be dating or even just talking to each other until their dreams come true. But when it does come true, they will go straight to marriage, aren't they skipping too many steps? These characters are so unrealistic that you can only find in animes. They should at least talk to each other and get to know each other better given that they both know that they like other. |

| Sweet development! That talk with that editor-in-chief was quite interesting and now that Takagi's gf is hanging around things might get a bit more interesting as well! Let's see what's next but this is getting quite good for sure! |

| Hattori's a good guy. His face when he said that the name's were terrible was priceless xD Miyoshi's a keeper. She's kinda creepy. So the chief editor knew Mashiro uncle and seemed kinda close to him. Next episode, it look like Nizuma will be in the same building as them xD |

| How the fuck did this series sell in Shounen Jump (which is essentially Jack)? The protagonist(s) are nothing like what they need to be to sell. They're completely ordinary, which was apparently the shortfalls of Two Earths and One in a Hundred Million. |

| "People being able to change their bodies with their thoughts?" Sounds like a premise that could get ecchi real fast. I'd read it. Didn't Miyoshi promise last episode not to bother Akito about how much time had to spend on manga? And then she ran this whole "Just a teensy weensy little break?" bit... I'm still confused as to why they can namedrop and show Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece all over the place yet they call the magazine "Shounen Jack". Woooow...it's almost like I've been saying about their ideas in these episode discussions. The themes of Moritaka and Akito's manga aren't "Jack-like." "A manga only needs to be interesting. If it's interesting, it will get serialized." Then why are there so many self-published web manga nowadays? I'm really curious as to how Moritaka's uncle really died. Was it truly overwork, or could everyone just be in denial over the suicide of a depressed man who kept getting rejected from his passion no matter how hard he tried? "What's the difference between us and Eiji?" "Well, for one, Eiji is severely autistic. If the two of you would make crow noises while you worked, maybe you'd be better." "Are you thinking of marrying me right now?" Akito's proper response would have been "How could I not be with an ass like that?" It seems like NHK was feeling a bit more fanservicy this episode. "None of these are interesting! They're too Jack-like." What do you bastards want? Maybe transfer them over to the seinen magazine...? Though I guess trying to make them a cult manga that half of Jack's readers like isn't a bad plan. I've been borderline 7/8 on my score since the last episode was a little slow, but things definitely got more interesting toward the end of this episode. Keeping my score at an 8. |

| Good episode. Nice to see Hattori try to strategize a way for Mashiro and Takagi to shithouse their way to a successful serialization after he realized how mediocre they both were in trying to go for the mainstream manga style. He found them to be at their best with more unorthodox content that has the potential to build a cult fanbase around it, and he sees the amount of potential these two have already before they even started high school, so might as well try to gamble on this method where they go the reverse of mainstream pretty much. Also, it was dope seeing Miyoshi interact more with the guys and even show up at the studio too. She even tries to support them through little things like preparing coffee for them or just communicating with them to put them a bit at ease when they're not at hard work mode. Her moments with the blunt Takagi were fun too. |

| We're only 10 episodes deep and they are already making more progress toward their dream than I thought they would this season. I mean, even by the end of this episode, they are setup to get a series going. I guess drawing and brainstorming can only go so far when you have 25 episodes. Though, in general, it was cool to see the inside of the Jack office and to see all the feedback from Hattori and the Editor-in-Chief. I was actually taken back when they said that Oda and Kishimoto were two of the judges for the contest too, lol. I didn't really think about it until now, but it's somewhat wild that these two huge names who are pumping out successful series weekly take time to judge rookie's manga. Moving on: this is why Miyoshi is best girl, she knows everything about the ridiculous promise between Moritaka and Miho and is trying to be the voice of reason. Now if only someone would listen to her. Because, if what she said is true about Miho's high school debut; temptation, expectation, and pressure will be around every corner waiting to corrupt Moritaka's pristine princess. It's hard to route for him when he's so naïve. |
