| wow that Granel monster is a beast, not only can abosrb dead synchor's but can use them as an attack and defense damn. Yusei it's up to you though i wonder what role will sheryl have in this? not to mention there's apparently a fourth member of Yliaster(the top guy on the Opening) can't wait for this, though too bad 2 weeks is soo long. i might not be able to watch this series again until i finish my finals. |

| Crow did a good job. He doesn't have a new ace monster that can stand up to Jose, so he did what he had to and left Yusei his dragon. Now for the final(?) showdown between Yusei and Jose. This'll probably take a few episodes, but I look forward to it. |

| It's kind of amazing that even though the writers loved Crow because they could use him to sell Blackwing cards, they didn't bother to give him an upgraded form of Black-Winged Dragon. Anyway his loss was guaranteed since Yusei had to be the last D-Wheeler on the team but it sucks that Crow wasn't able to decrease Jose's LP at all. |
| I agree with the above, it's weird that pretty much only Stardust and Red Dragon got upgrades. I mean, I know there was a Black Rose Moonlight Dragon, but, looking at its wiki, it doesn't seem to be an actual upgrade to Black Rose Dragon, just a variant. This series went in too hard with Yusei and Jack, and even Jack seems to just being a throwaway for most of the major battles. There's no reason Luna and Akiza shouldn't have gotten some more screen time. Even in this WRGP, they started with Akiza when Crow couldn't duel. Why not just incorporate Akiza and Luna in some of the duels throughout the tournament? They probably, easily, could've written excuses to sub out Yusei, Jack, or Crow. Anyway, back to watching Crow struggle. Crow lasted longer than I expected, but he didn't manage to really do anything. I guess he gave Yusei Black-Winged Dragon? They had to push Blackwings at least one more time, eh? I'm not sure how Yusei will face Granel, presumably with Shooting Star Dragon I guess? We shall see. |

| Even though crow didn't do anything to opponents LP, he did try his best.The tactics he used were really good. Not using any synchro but at the same time using them. Not there but there were there. Its all Crow coulda done vs a Synchro absorber monster. I like the spiky things that makes the monster removed from play effect by crow. If it landed it woulda been easy but the writters had to make this fight ultra hard mode for Crow so a defense measure was written to stop that. all up to yusei again. lol. at least he gets to use crows monster that he passed down. |
