| It's an awesome week for Hellsing Ultimate. Not only have the remastered OVAs 1-5 finally been released in Japan, but Geneon has finally confirmed that the series has been renewed for its final season, consisting of episodes XIII through X. Otherwise, I'm just spinning in my seat waiting for the remastered blurays to hit the internet. :) |

| January 2011 is the end of limited edition OVA 1-5 bluray boxed set printing. There is no announced date for OVA VIII, though I have a feeling it won't come until well into 2011. Kelmadick has at least had its hand in Hellsing Ultimate in the past, and Graphinica is part of Q-Tec, which has a somewhat impressive history. Obviously I'd prefer Madhouse, but these two studios don't seem like a terrible choice. |
| Why is almost everything that Graphinica did related to photography or 3D stuff? I'm not being optimistic until I see the eight episode with my own eyes. |

So it was kinda confirmed almost a year ago but they can and I believe certainly will delay OVA8 anyway so don't get too exited about the 2010 release. |

Perhaps you could read the manga cuz with the current pace we might have to wait till the end of 2012 to see the last OVA (or even longer but I do not want to even think about that). It's a shame really, Hellsing is my favourite anime but it's been so long since the last episode was released that I'm slowly losing interest (anticipation is good but the waiting is now becoming simply ridiculous). |

I'd say just watch it, I was doing the same thing, but decided to take the plunge when I found 1080p versions with DTS sound. Damn it is so bad ass in hi-def on a 52" display with surround sound you can hear the rockets and bullets wizzing by your head. Episode 7 will blow your mind and made me want to rewatch all 7 episodes as soon as I finished. Now I'll just wait till episode 8 comes out to rewatch all of them and do the same thing when 9 and 10 come out. It's that good. |

As awesome as it is, the release schedule has been so spread out that it's probably been years since the last time a lot of people got excited about the series at the same time. Barely anyone except for the diehard fans pay attention to the release schedule anymore. And to anyone else, it probably doesn't even seem worth it to get hyped up for a release date anymore, thanks to the huge delays in the most recent episodes. |
| CrazyFool You can analyze how thing were before this point to predict how they will be for OVA10. My prediction is late Summer - early Autumn 2012. June is too much to ask. |
