| This episode was seriously disappointing... we're it not for the few moments Gunji was in the picture... but still... not what I expected... I'll keep watching this in hopes that the plot will thicken... and I kind of was expecting more fight seens too... :( |

| DAT QUARITY. The Anime adaption makes me really sad. The animation is simply horrible. I think A-1 Pictures was trolling when they showed the trailer. The fight scenes are awkward and the story feels somewhat rushed. Not even Gunji or Rin made it acceptable. /quietly re-plays the game |

| I really like the music at the beginning during the narration..keisuke indeed is extremely girly in terms of behavior and character.He is like a leech to Akira..Rin was kinda cool but the image really doesn't fit.A young boy in something like a skirt jumping and slashing guys is a bit weird.On the top I can't imagine Junjun voicing a violent type..But okay I like him so far.. Overall I find the adaptation/animation really mediocre.In the manga they looked ten times better..And gunji deserves more screen time. |

| Agggh this adaption makes me wanna cry. ;_; I put my expectations too high and got scorched, I guess. Nothing interesting really happened this episode! I'm hoping the quality undergoes miracle time and becomes awesome for the awesome parts of the story? And also, I luff Keisuke~ He's such a stalker! <3 |
| D: What the heck is with animation quality... It's been some time I've last seen something so... ugly. And here I hoped for an intense, action-packed anime. :/ That ep wasn't incredibly boring, but it sure wasn't fast-paced. Meh, I hope there's more to Keisuke than typical useless leech "sidekick". :/ |

| Animation and art is still crappy. And lol forever @ Kau. Ugh, Keisuke's a fucking idiot. Weak and useless, puts himself in danger. What are the chances of him finding Akira so quickly like that? Maybe I should stop questioning that -- after all, this is an anime. Anyway, what happened? What did the guy say to Keisuke? And why would Keisuke change his mind so abruptly? I know this is a shounen-ai, which pretty much answers my question, but are there women in this world? Is Igura a men-only thing? For Keisuke to mistake Rin as a woman makes me think not, but we haven't seen any since the chick in the first ep. |

| Ugh, A1, if you're gonna have such a shitty production you may as well have not bothered with paying for different ED songs each episode and allocate the money to making the animation actually worth watching =/. It's taken such a nosedive since the promising trailer. Character designs not only look downgraded, but the actual art & consistency in the show is also horrid. Kau also reminded me of one of the things that served to drive me away from the series. This is reaching Minami-ke Okaeri levels of bad art/animation. Let's see how long Rin and the Nitro+ label could keep me following this. Worst I've seen of A1 Pictures, that's for sure. |

| I like how beautiful animated Nano is in the new OP sequence! Now I can't wait for Nano to appear formally in here! A-1 Pictures is my favourite animation company but I'm having second thoughts about their animation for TnC. Maybe,the starting eps are supposed to horribly animated? But I'm seeing a little improvement from Ep 2. So might as well think positive for the future animations! |
| WHAT IS WITH THIS ANIMATION? It downright sucks. Of course, an anime's animation is not the sole indicator of its quality. After all, I really really enjoyed Beck and its animation is even more craptastic than TnC's. However, Beck had interesting characters, fun character dynamics, and a well-developed plot. TnC, so far, does not and as a result, I'm bored. Very disappointing. |
| I could agree with all the complaints.... Igra feels more disturbing to me in the anime though -- standing there watching people get killed like it's normal -- just seems more bizarre when animated. |

| This is so gay! and unfortunately is not even interesting enough to overcome that. Slow boring rhythm and characters that are not likable. Not to mention the bad technical department. That Keisoke guy is bathetic and the other guy is playing too much the silent cool guy act. No comments for the Scottish dressed manwoman. |

Funny thing is I just learned how hard it is to animated something a few days ago, but still this anime production deserves better. The plot has potential, the animation and art destroys it. |

Rin has always been my favourite Fukuyama Jun character (sans Grell), so it was great to see him in action. Although we won't be able to hear him say アキラ、気持ちいい？ ;__: Some of the animation is a bit poor, but it seems to be taking the 'concentrating the animation specifically in certain areas' approach, rather like Madhouse. TBH, I don't give a shit at all whether the animation is good or bad. The fact that it's TnC, and it has the same cast as the game is good enough for me. |

Yes, there is a difference between "different" and "bad" but TnC really does fall into the "bad" category. "Different" would be like Mononoke, which manages to be eye-hurting and beautiful at the same time. Despite all the different textures and colours floating around in any given scene, its animation is still very fluid and consistent. Just watch any of the Medicine Seller's transformation or battle scenes. TnC has bad animation. Movements are jerky and awkward, and body proportions get significantly warped with any change in camera angle. There are a few scenes where the character movement is quite smooth (e.g. Rin's fight in this episode), but for the most part, animation is a problem in this series. |
| Enjoyed this episode... i am person who have never read the manga or played the game(i have read just doujinshis:))...and i am quite glad now because then i would be probably bitching like everyone else(but not really,because bitching about something i can´t change is useless). Everybody is fucking spoiled these days,lol |
| I loved this episode I think TnC is going to be my favorite of the fall.. My favorite are Shiki & Gunji I hope to see more of the two  ..But I officially hate that shota and the leech  ..I can't wait for the next Ep.. |
