I don't know why the commanders are so impatient, it's like they want to die really badly

It's pretty obvious that Yang is going to win this, there's no other choice

It's not really weird that Yang got promoted; they have to keep him alive as a state propaganda piece (and he doesn't want to be a propaganda piece, that's the price he pays for Jessica's safety).

Great commentary by the audience of how they're sending this fleet of "upcoming" youth and whatnot because the surviving youth missed their chance to die at Astarte.

Here comes the chad Schönkopf. The Gaiden's really show how bold they are and stepping in to defend the waitress with no fear of the seniority of the officers is very much in-character for Schönkopf.

Yang set up for Frederica Greenhill by his friend? lol

On a more serious note, the discussion of peace Yang had with the Rosen Ritter shows how much Yang is a realist. The prospect of a permanent peace? For Yang, if he can force the Empire to the negotiating table and make the next couple of decades to be peaceful, that's enough, he can retire and Julian can grow up in peacetime.

The new Iserlohn commanders; the need to one up the other commander may result in victories from time to time, but damn, they're gullible here Oberstein offers some doubt to the atmosphere.

The greatness continues.
Yang Wen Lee is probably one of the greatest military strategists in fiction

Rewatching.
I love the introduction of the Rosen Ritter, so much better than the remake.
Big daddy Schönkopf is here, I'm always happy to see him!

pacing has been a bit better so far, would much rather have yang screentime rather than reinhard tbh

yang basically made Trojan horse lol, i actually saw it from miles when he asked for imperial ship.
though i somehow have hard time to see it succeeds. we saw that the fortress have it's weaknesses and all, but it depends on many changes.

those here said that yang is ideological compare to reinhard who seeks power probably didn't got the imperial's mind so far. they don't see the war as a struggle of humanity but part of their duty. they live for the war and earning from it. that's how i see it at least.
compare to most of them reinhard at least have good ambition - to free his sister.

The whole infiltration plan and Yang using people that could really do it well makes it all more interesting, certainly this would be a big blow to Empire if successfull

The first two episodes had me worried this series was not going to be for me, but then this episode and the previous three episodes had me feeling more hopeful. Of course, I can still see this series having stretches of episodes where it's slower and more focused on the strategizing for these battles, but as long as there are moments in-between where it does focus on the world outside of the war then that'll be much appreciated. The characters are also getting nice development.

fine episode, nothing special. The plan is a good one, if a little basic. Pretty tired which might explain my less enthusiastic reception. Looking forward to more.

Well, that felt boring, too much talking about things I couldn't bother to keep attention xD
