wow that was something. I love the way they are able to escaladate but manage to end it peacefully in the end. Or should I say beautifully rather.

Wow, that was a quick end to the antagonists.
Loved the ending though.

I liked the ending for the most part, but I think the explanation for Moonlight Knight was really, really lame. Oh well. I'm glad this arc is over, it really dragged during some episodes.

for a filler arc that was pretty damn good. the ending with the doom tree sprout was quite moving. but yeah the moonlight knight explanation was awful.

It was a nice conclusion for this arc. Yeah, the moonlight Knight didn't make much sense, but when did Sailor Moon ever make sense? This is not an anime you watch for it's logic.

Would have made more sense if the split personality was still Tuxedo Mask and not something new.

Oh well it all gets wrapped up in a pretty bow.

Awww, Mamoru finally got his memories back <3 And An is back to normal too.

How refreshing to end a major arc with so peacefully. If only it could be done like that more often.

I'm glad Eiru and An ended up making up in the end and weren't "true" villains.
Since they are going to find another planet, hopefully they won't be jealous brats again and work on their relationship insecurities, ahah.

Actually a satisfying ending for the filler arc as the power of Love triumphs over all, even restoring An back to life. And with the introduction next episode of a certain small pink-haired interloper, we return to canon (more or less).
Please don't feed the trolls!

That was a nice end to the arc, I guess.

Arc started out and stayed slow and dry...but that was a pretty good ending, especially considering it's filler.

I ship Usagi with Rei but YAAAY she can finally be happy with Mamoru now. :D <3 The girls teasing them at the end were cute too. It's so refreshing to watch a show where the love isn't part of the finale too, so I'm excited to see them interact in the episodes to come.

DAMMMMMMMNNNN.
Is this arc fillersss??? Why is it soooo goood?????
Tsukikage no Knight >>>> Tuxedo Mask.
R Usagi >>> S1 Usagi.
Ali and En are just so likeable and maybe I like them only a little less than Nephrite.

Damn, only a filler arc, but it has its own theme.
True love is not something you take, but give. Just like what Ikuni did 4 years later with Utena. This theme is first brought up in the ep where Mako falls for Ali, and comes back in the finale and ties everything together.
Usagi sure grows a lot too, not only in this ep, but throughout the arc she cares for the Sailors, and even cares for En.
Every Sailor is given an episode of their own (except Ami). All are fun.

Oh if this season ends here I will give it a 9.
Next ep gonna have ChibiUsa so a lot of high-pitched whining again??

Tsukikage no Knight's lines are allll goood. It's amazing that with that little screen time, and such a plot contrivance to help the Sailors out of their pinch, I really like him.
I can remember his one-liners in the Minako's episode (school bus ep), Rei's festival episode, Mako's falling in love ep, and this one, when he talks about ecology. They actually fit and are very inspirational.
Better than all of Tuxedo Mask last season.
His identity, it's understandable.

The tree the tree the treeeee!!!!
Great "villain"!!!!

"I don't need energy, but love"!!!!

Sometimes at the end I expected it to say "Cleansing" and it did. Hahaha. That was one hell of a long emotional "Cleansin".
Seeing it revive as a small twig is lovely.

This is probably the best original filler arc I've ever seen.
In fact, it didn't feel like a filler at all. I liked the "villains" and the ending, and the humor was consistent with the rest of the series. Very enjoyable!

this filler arc didnt even seem like filler. did pretty good to humor the audience but at the same time, get a little of plot.

in my head though i was kind of thinking what if mamoru just woke up, sat up, and went "bro i dont remember anything can i go home"

Oh man, this episode was fantastic! Almost to the heights of the finales of S1. The action, animation, direction, emotion...wow. Everything was extremely well-done and created a fantastic episode. And the plot itself was great too. There were so many cool bits, from the Moonlight Knight reveal to the part where they were inside the Makai Tree, I was kept engaged from start to finish. Overall, a major, major winner.

The filler arc is finally over. Might as well skip some fillers from now on. This was painful to endure.

I dislike how a lot of shoujo like this and Rayearth end major arcs with completely unforeshadowed lore dumps. Same with Moonlight Knight thoroughly explaining his own existence.

But thank god this arc is over

I didn't care about the plot in this arc at all, but I liked the conclusion and I gotta say that I still enjoyed most of the character interactions during the last couple of episodes.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

At last the Doom Tree arc is over, if it could talk I have no idea why it didn't just tell Eiru and An about how it needed love from the start but oh well. Nice to see Usagi and Mamoru back together and that scene of them protecting each other was cute. Shame she-who-must-not-be-named (for spoiler reasons) is going to show up to ruin everything though

Great arc, great finale of an arc.

Even though it was filler, it felt less dragging than most Season 1 episodes. Every episode of this arc had something to progress the plot or to upgrade the characters.

Awwwwwww such a great and cute end to this arc!!
I am so thankful this filler arc didn’t felt so filler -y like season 1 makes it much easier to binge watch a couple of them (at least in my opinion)
