| Dragonscales are awesome on Natsu. It's only out raw right now, but it was still pretty epic. Not sure what to make of next week's scenes though. |

| AH I can't wait for better quiality to take my Erza shots :( Oh man Dragon Force was so cool animated. and OMG, I swear these Irish melodies are so freakin awesome. Not sure what the coin was about. YAY another Erza hug scene!! Ah the trinity raven escaped. Didn't know that before. Next week is mostly filler, but there will be a couple of important scenes that you will want to watch, so don't skip it. Avoliee don't worry, you'll get to see plenty more of Gerald. |

| Probably the best fight in the whole series so far for me. Everything was action-packed. I especially liked the huge punch Natsu did to Jellal and the screen went white like in TTGL and One Piece. Tetsuya did a fantastic job as Natsu here. |

| Natsu showed his powerful side again and this time even his skin changed, which looked very nice. Erza was awesome near the end. And we got to see how her eye was fixed, still she was only crying out of one eye. Question remains where was she at the end she was wearing a dress which she didn't before. |
| Great episode. The fight was pretty intense and epic...I've actually forgotten what happens to Erza even though I've read the manga though O_o |

About this episode, I fricking loved it!! Fight animation was superb, in Fairy Tail standards. Sure there are better fights in other shounen shows, but this was really great. BGMs are so top notch and awesome, I was getting goosebumps xD. Kakihara Tetsuya did an excellent job here, his voice is so GAR. Ohara Sayaka as Erza was excellent. Last part was also great. I'm kinda confused with the preview though. But remembering that the preview of ep39 left out the details of this awesome fight, I think they left out the conclusion of this arc on purpose. I think that will only cover half of the next episode which is ok for me. Next arc, here we come, right after some filler-ish parts which are in the manga. Will look forward to the next episode. Gonna rewatch the episode again xD. |

| One of the best fight yet for Fairy Tail, almost all of the episode was very well animated. Also I got Erza's sacrifice a lot better here than I did in the manga. I was actually moved where as before I was all 'whatever can we just move on?!'. Another reason the anime is in some ways better than the manga. I'm kind of and kind of not looking forward to the next episode, but only cause of some stuff that happened in the manga. But it looks like they aren't going to spend a whole ep on it, thank freaking god. |

And he loved Erza till the very end :(... And I didn't fell like crying myself until I saw Natsu crying :((... I hope Erza isn't really dead... But I loved that white dress :P Oh and amazing animation *_* [had to say it too even if others have said it...] |

| Is for this that Natsu is my favorite. He DESTROYED Jellal. Simon RIP :( A think Erza is not dead. Fairy Tail without Erza, is One Piece without Nami. |
| Erza wasn't out for long! Simon jumping in the way was too predictable. Still, poor Simon. I really love Natsu's character; he may not be that original, yet he's a character type you can't help but love; goofy, sweet, reckless yet bright at the right time; people often take them for granted, then they're suprised as they get their backside handed to them. :P Jellel on the otherhand doesn't impress me, average villian; tallented, cocky, doing as they please, no special backstory. The love/loathe thing about this type o upbeat series is, no main character dies early on. It's rare that a mani dies at all. Not that I want Erza dead, it's just predictable that this won't happen. (anyway, the preview confirmed she was alive to) |

| I don't think Erza will die. Hm, I cried a little. Not in the part where Erza sacrificed herself, but when Simon died. Where did Jellal go?! I didn't see him after Erza made the comment that Natsu was a true dragon slayer. And there was some coin? o__o |

Anyway I have a question, when I started watching episodes were 24 mins long, but I stopped watching (as I read the manga so I skipped the boring episodes) and for episode 40 it was only 12 minutes long. Does anyone know if thats the norm now or just a one off? |
