| LOL. Okay. Sure. Why not. Although it was touching, the whole heart thing, and I got tons of goosebumps. This was wasted potential. A remake I hope will do like the old ugly Kanon into Kanon 2006. So here's to an Angel Beats! 2015 or something. |

Plus what's up with the graduation ending? That scene that took about half of the ep didn't have much meaning in it. I would rather they fill it with flashbacks instead. And did Otonashi really had no regrets and grudges against God? He was so close to finishing his medical studies when he died, and moreover, right before the rescue crew came. Plus his sister too. And Angel was in the end a normal character like Yuri and the others? She seems to be much more special than that, her friends keep disappearing, she can use angel player etc. Overall, 6 due to crappy ending. Hope they clear up the last scene with OVAs or something. simple explanation for why she got there before him...he was wandering and didnt enter the world first because he didnt have any regrets if you actually watched ep 13 he clearly said that him going there was something like an accident |

| i liked this episode. it was a sad yet happy ending. i cant believe she got his heart. that was a big twist in the story. it was sad when kanade disappeared. but all in all i give this a 7/10 because the plot was rushed too fast. it should have at least a second season to explain the ending. i mean i want to see this show one more time. |
| I was just starting to get excited after I watched episode 12, and I realized it's the end. Wtf? This is the most ridiculous ending ever, ya it is, but quite good anime. And the fights are lame. I hope they dont make another anime like Angel Beats ever again. And whys it called Angel Beats anyway? |

| I am disappointed. i figured i wouldnt like the ending when i realized at episode 10 how much little time there was to get a good answer for everything and to go over everyone's past. my problems were as follows: -there were too many holes -why was Kanade there with his heart long before Otanashi was there? how did Kanade -find out about the stupid program? -needed to go over the secondary characters such as TK -never really said what happened to Yuri when she died -why is the series called Angel Beats? If i didnt see the ending i would score this 9/10, the ending makes me want to burn the series and since i loved the series so much before it, i shall move the memory of this episode to the trash bin of my brain. |

| As many said this anime had a lot of holes. But what really got to me was the story. Probably better if it was longer than 13 eps but there were numerous parts the felt they needed to expand on certain parts. Example: - The Guild could have had a interesting story to it if they wanted to - When they brought in Naoi, he would have been a good person for them to fight with instead of immediately joining sides - The shadows and the guy with all the computers could have been much better than it was And I'm sure there are others. What I want to know is where they went after they disappeared. Heaven? Back to their original bodies alive? Reincarnated? A 2nd life?.......what? But this last episode was nice and touching but overall the series didn't turn out how I hoped. 7/10 |

| Damn you Maeda, this episode still tugs my heart strings. And so, the whole Beats! theme and the EKG theme is neatly explained. Angel Beats, the Heartbeats of an Angel. And I assume that the time of your death does not equal your time entering here. I assume Kanade lived long enough to have a happy life with one regret. And then she came to this world, waiting for it. Yes, the anime is rushed, yes there are plot holes larger than a jumbo jet, yes I don't like how Yuri suddenly has that much change in attitude (but her friendliness towards Kanade and her disappearance actually fits her). But damn it if it didn't entertain me. Maeda may very well made this for money, and I fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. And I am loving it. Damn you Maeda, damn you. 8/10 |
| Hmm ending was good, not great but good. Yuri had just seemed to become unimportant by the end which I didn't like, also her personality changed unfavourably IMO. The Otanashi/Kanade ending was cute and bittersweet. I take it that's them in the next world in the little epilogue. Overall fun series which I'm giving an 8/10 but none of the characters are going into my favourites. Also I think I speak for everybody when I say: NEEDS MOAR T.K! |

| What is up with all the hate? I only read through the first few pages and everyone seems to be complaining. Who cares if they got reincarnated to look exactly alike. They probably did it so the viewers can recognize its them and give them closure that kanade and orihara eventually met again. The things you all are complaining about are small nitpicking things that dont really matter. I totally agree that this show would have been sooooooooooo much better if it was more than 13 episodes, but it was still a great show. Some of you are giving it low ratings bc your just disappointed by the fact that it didnt do more with its potential and completely ignore that it was still a good show. |

| So Kanade received Otonashi's heart after he died but some how made it to that world before Yurippe, the rest, and even Otonashi? @_@ ..ok The last episode was kind of a miss for me, it felt rushed. I didn't really find it emotional. And I somehow found myself laughing when Otonashi was grasping the air at the end :/ The saddest moment for me was probably when Ayato left, no surprise there since I think I'm gay for him. I was kind of expecting him to confess his gay love for Otonashi when he was saying farewell, too bad lol Though, I wasn't expecting Otanshi's love confession to Kanade. Well overall, I enjoyed this series more than I expected to. A few laughs here and there. |

| Felt this episode was pretty mediocre, and almost boring, until the last 5 minutes or so when Kanade said that she was there because she had Otonashi's heart. Finally! A bit of background on her. And I liked the confession, even though I don't care much for the pairing. And I also liked the post-credit bit. Rest of the episode, however, ugh, and Kanade's sudden mood fluctuations were weird. Overall, series had potential to be something great, since the idea was pretty nice, but the execution was rather lackluster. And the comedy and some of the drama failed to deliver, the comedy especially. I mean, I laughed at the comedy more in Clannad than this. There was also a rather poor transition between the two genres. Also didn't care or like most of the characters except for Otonashi since he's the only one that got a decent amount of development. But man, if there was one thing I really liked about this series was episode 9. For me, that was a great episode, and I thought the drama was well executed during Otonashi's flaskback scenario. Actually made me cry. Then again, it doesn't take much for me to cry despite the fact that the rest of the supposedly "sad" parts failed to deliver. Would be a 5/10 but +1 for episode 9 so 6/10. |

| I feel like im a little late for the discussion but I thought the ending was nice. I knew there had to be some kind of love confession or it wouldn't be key. It was sad to see them split apart and everything but then they show them after. I am guessing its them in another life meeting? That's what I assumed anyways. I would give it an overall rating of 9/10. |

| If it wasn't for the music of this series, I wouldn't even feel sad.. also, I didn't like how Yuri and Hinata just disappeared like that, it seemed as if they were just side characters like Naoi, and why was Naoi there in the first place?.. I loved the series from the beginning but the last episodes after Yui disappeared was kind of messed up, if they had made this a 24 episode anime, it could have been better and the lack of chracter development could have been fixed up. Overall I'd give it an 8/10 rating... hope a side story or remake could be made.. ^^V |

| Oh this. Soo no closure, not even for the newly created Otonashi/Kanade? He MISSED her shoulder in the epilogue, could have brought at least some sense of completeness to this riddled story... HIGHLY reminiscent to the train tracks scene in 5 cm per second, I'm sure everyone remembers that heh. |
| The first half up to Naoi disappearing I could only think "what the hell am I watching?". After that though, I felt it was a brilliant conclussion for Otonashi and Kanade's stories, specially the twist that gives the franchise it's name and the fact that even with that he could move on. I have no problem with accepting someone that died later arrived in this "purgatory" earlier; it was defined as being out of normal space and time anyway. Ditto for them looking the same... been decades of stories with alternate universes where people look the same in all of them when it would be probabilistically ludicrous. My only nitpick is that while this episode took it easy and resolved a couple of characters pretty well, so many others got nothing that you know there is gonna be a lot of explaining in other sources and that will take a while to come out. As a whole, it's still a rushed mess, but a entertaining and emotional one. The epilogue reminded me of the original (theaters only) ending of The Butterfly Effect. |

| The confession came out of nowhere, I thought, and the crying was really over done to the point where I was rolling my eyes. I did find Naoi's goodbye funny, but also laughed when Otonashi waved his arms about after Kanade disappeared :V One thing I do like about this series is the quality of the animation. 6/10, it was fine. |

| The last part of the ep was obviously a Flash Sideways, doesn't anyone watch LOST? :| From Lostpedia: the flash sideways. Like flashbacks and flash forwards, flash sideways intercut into episodes' main action a secondary storyline, which covered the centric characters at a different time. The series finale revealed the nature of the world the flash sideways portrayed: it showed the characters meeting after death. |

| They were not in a coma! They all died but did not accept their death (Otonashi didn't have his last memory, so he did not accept his life yet). If they accepted their previous life, they would be reborn again in the world, with the same bodies and personalities, but maybe as different people? Who knows. In the beginning of the series, they believed that you would be reborn into a water flea, but that is obviously not true, as all the members were reborn into themselves (Yuzuru met Kanade, and Hinata probably met Yui, etc. I hope Noda met Yuri! They should've shown that!) OVERALL, Angel Beats is definitely the best 2010 Anime this season. :) |

| Really my fanboy mind was already giving this serie a 10. But to be honest, that last episode felt really akward. Yuri and Kanade where totally out of character out of the blue. Yuri acting girly like, Kanade the more shy type. She fucking giggled. It was cool though, but it just feels wrong...this could be so awesome with more episodes. They really had to stop this project with only 13 episodes. I hope episode 14 has the explanation from Maeda's side. But I think they just met in their new life. So yes, after putting my fanboy mode aside, Yuzuru was death and saved Kanade. But oh well, this serie is full with plotholes xD. Well one thing, the serie made me cry. Something that doesn't happen often so.. ok ok, CLANNAD ~After Story~ and Kanon 2006 also did let me cry.. 8/10. Which can become a lower or higher depending on Episode 14. Also, Angel Beats was one of the better spring anime. But not the best.. imo. *Puts up his anti fanboy shield and is seeking cover from the heated battle that is to come* |
