| The third animated installment in the Higurashi franchise will be released as an OVA series. It is tentatively titled, “Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei” — name of the fandisc for the original game released in December of 2006. | OVA's are better than nothing, I'm happy even though we wont get to see the 3rd season, especially since so many good shows are only 12 episode's long. |

| An OVA...? Well, hey, still can't wait! Though I must admitt, I guess we should've seen it coming to that, I didn't think it would be much for a season anyway, What I mean is that the mystery was solved in the second season anyway. : | And the whole mystery was basically the key element in the whole Higurashi series. So you know what I'm getting at?.... :) I do wonder what this OVA will include though, I'm still very excited! :D |

| I don't expect much from it, the first OVA will be the usual fanservice/swimming pool episode, the fifth OVA will be a slapstick romantic comedy. Episodes 2-4 will be a serious story arc, though I can't imagine it will be any good with this limited time. |

Good luck with that then. I don't know how much you'll understand of OVAs 2-4 since they're considered the epilogue of the series. |
