| Holy shit. That was heavy. I hope Clare finds a way to regenerate her arm, I'd find it really odd if not. Anyway, even though we were spoiled on the IRC channel by some random user just before everyone finished his download, it was still a great episode, made me go o.O a lot though. Irene is pretty damn strong, and that bit with Ophelia and the glimpse of a split character was great. Looking forward to more! Can't wait until Clare shows the results of her training. |

| Poor Clare losing her arm. She's got a hell of a disadvantage now so I wonder how she'll be able to compensate. I can't imagine just learning Irene's fighting techniques will be enough. The next episode preview looked great so I can't wait to see what happens in the next fight. |

| Great episode. Ophelia is nothing! Definitely and interesting character and you catch of the glimpse of the inner tumoil that she's suppressed up to this point. Poor girl. I've always been somewhat of a fan of Irene and to see her back was a pleasant surprise. Anyway, I won't spoil too much here... but did any pay attention to the preview? A new Claymore and the last keyframe of the preview. I'm surprised no one has noticed or commented. I will say no more. |

| This episode was awesome. The animation was great and well Ophelia gets owned. It's about time someone acutally beats her. Though Clare is now an unpredictable Claymore because of everything that happens to her and this was bound to happen to Ophelia she's crazy |

| I'm disappointed that the seiyuu for Ophelia didn't make her voice shaky whenever the Rippling Sword was used. That would have been hilarious. It still bothers me that Ophelia was able to figure out that Clare set up her escape. Still... unless a head goes flying off, it isn't necessarily over. And Ophelia turning into an Awakened Being. In a way, that's cool because she's deserving of the irony. However, I would have loved to see her will completely broken by Clare when her Rippling Sword is defeated by the Flash Sword. Funny how both Clare and Ophelia had someone precious taken away from them by the one horned monster... Priscilla. While Clare closed her heart in pursuit of vengeance, Ophelia shut the door to the past. One has attained great power while the other has a stronger will. It was really intriguing when Ophelia explained how Claymores become offensive and defensive types. Clare's flashback during the explanation answered the question of what type she is. The "crossroads" of those "qualified to fight" is a very important discussion as it's in the title of the next episode! I love this dialog between Clare and Irene. Ever since her first hunt of an Awakened Being, I've notice Clare's emotions surfacing a little more. Raki, Miria, Helen, and Deneve seemingly have had a profound effect on her. Here's some questions for thought: With Irene explaining that the Flash Sword is basically awakening in one arm, would Ophelia hunted her down because of her smell? Ophelia seems to have acute sense when it comes to Awakened Beings. Strangely enough, she didn't recognize Irene's scent. Was it because Irene's body didn't (half) awaken and revert to its original form like Miria, Clare, Helen and Deneve? |

They sorta sped through things in this episode, I felt like it was longer in the manga o.o Still it was so thrilling even though I knew what was gonna happen. Tension! I love Irene though, it was so awesome seeing her again. Her voice actress is so badass sounding. Completely offhandedly just owns the crap out of Ophelia. So cool. ^.^ *fangirl squee* |

| I was really surprised (and glad) when Irene came back, in my memory she got stabbed in the head like everyone else, so I couldn't work out why she was still alive. As for the flash sword, she said you effectively awaken one arm, which I took to mean that its a similar process, but that the flashsword is a controlled process unlike awakening which is uncontrolled. Its hard to explain, its kind of like a gun, the energy is all concentrated briefly to propel the bullet, but if the energy was to be released everywhere then that would be bad. A poor analogy but I'm just finding it hard to explain what I think. Do you guys mind speculation on the next episode, or future episodes? |

| Awesome episode. While it was one-sided, the fight scenes were cool. I just loved how Irene kicked Ophelia's ass. It was also great to see Clare learning a new move. Now she can have both Teresa's yoki reading ability along with Irene's flash sword. I cant wait till the next episode. |

| i am done reading most of the messages ITT. there seems to be a lot of foreshadowing and hint-dropping, even if unintentional. but meh, i'm pretty late to this series anyway. clare's arm, one can only hope, will somehow return. and ophelia now being awakened presents even more of a problem for me, since i hated her to begin with. i can't ever help but to commiserate with the protagonist to the point where all of the antagonist awesomeness is killed for me. FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. but no matter, amazing episode, can't wait for the next one which instead of next week... i will watch......... now. so i do have the marathon advantage. w00t for that. |
