This is getting 2spooky but it's great. I wonder what's the deal with these old people and the shooter, obviously they're evil but i wonder just what their deal is. Time to go on to the next!

So the old couple are instigating the unrest, didn't see that coming. One of the best eps yet.

Even the rain seems to be in favor of the murderous couple. I liked Grimmer's metaphor "So it's a solitary island". And yes my man Runge keibu is fucking awesome as ever.

Johan going for the perfect suicide, everything makes sense now.

This has gotten so creepy, the atmosphere of this arc is intense on another level and not seen yet in this series.

And I'm taking my guess with the wheelchair guy back, he isn't Bonaparta, way too obvious for this narrative.

Seems like the mass murder is about to begin. Lunge is smart yet his theory on Tenma was crazy off...

Symbolic number, had to comment :).

This specific episode is the beginning of the end, really enjoyed it. You can really feel that it's coming to an end.

I'm loving the atmosphere of these episodes based in Ruhenheim; with the isolated setting and residents that seem normal but are actually on edge, it feels like an Agatha Christie mystery - especially with murders happening without any of the main characters witnessing them.

The couple who won the lottery are so paranoid that the man would hide a body whose murder he doesn't have any connection to. Seems like an excellent way to get evidence on it and actually incriminate himself, but hey - he's not thinking straight.

"A wonderful man who will take me away from here." I wonder if that's Johan.

Don't you dare to mess around when Lunge is around..lol. That old man is too stupid to be Bonaparta, but maybe he could be dumb as well.

And I'm still anticipating that the Soldier will appear again in this last arc.

This whole town massacre thing is coming off as very unrealistic... although I guess it fits into the almost supernatural 'powers' Johan has.

Its interesting that Johan managed to manipulate even an innocent old couple to do part of his dirty work, good thing Lunge saw the dirty shoes and realised they are a treat.

I hope some reinforcements for Grimmer and Lunge will arrive because it feels like a fight 2 of them and Tenma can't win without extra hand

I might be wrong but I think the old man is Bonaparta.

If this was Johan's plan all along, what was the purpose of killing all the other families?

Notes:

(1) Lunge-Grimmer is a tandem I didn't think I needed;

(2) Identity crisis (as manifested, among others, by the frequent change, or disregard of, names) is a recurring theme;

(3) I have a complaint regarding Johan's journey after the Schuwald arc. After the fire in the library, it was revealed that Johan cross-dresses as Nina. This arc does not seem to contribute anything to the plot, except to establish that Johan was compelled at a young age to dress up as Nina. When viewed in light of the perfect suicide arc, though, the cross-dressing arc appears to be a stage when Johan is lost, and does not know what to do next.
“Why does an apple fall when it is ripe? Is it brought down by the force of gravity? Is it because its stalk withers? Because it is dried by the sun, because it grows too heavy, or because the boy standing under the tree wants to eat it? None of these is the cause.... Every action of theirs, that seems to them an act of their own free will is in the historical sense not free at all but is bound up with the whole course of history and preordained from all eternity.”

I didn't expect the old tourist couple to hand out guns and be part of Johan's scheme.

Perhaps just me but I find the hotel owner mad suspicious like how everyone in the town has some problem (lost dog, alcoholic, paranoia over lottery, bullies) except him.

Does anyone else think that the man who runs the hotel is Franz Bonaparta? Idk I just felt like he was Franz Bonaparte when he showed the picture of that man to the couple

People out there accepting guns from creepy elders as if it was the most normal thing in the world. Okay.

"A wonderful man who will take me away from here." Please, don't be Roberto. Please, don't be Roberto. Please, don't be Roberto.

So, I gotta guess the paranoid couple conveniently winning the lottery in the right moment was also part of Johan's plan.
And damn, even the rain is on his side now.

Is the old man in the wheel chair so posed to be Bonaparte living out the rest of his life in his home town or is that just a couple hired by Johan I honestly can’t say because there giving away guns like it’s candy but damn Johan’s about to make a whole town massacre themselves by using there own paranoia blame and confusion against themselves and it’s already started with the lottery couple

JUST WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THIS TOWN BRO AAAAA IT"S SO TENSE

It's so tense and Johan isn't even here yet!!!

A "perfect suicide" sounds like an incredible climactic moment for the story...

Wtf is up with the old couple? Lunge shouldn't have told them that he noticed the dirty shoes

And the guy who shot the cop doesn't look like Roberto.

I am extra confused.

I don't really know what this couple who won the lottery should contribute to the story.

Well Tenma tries to find out everything about Bonaparta. I think he's on a good track.
Lipzki couldn't help him for now but maybe he could be a key-character later.

Ruhenheim becomes more savage and a few more people died in this town. I think Johan has already something to do with it but you didn't see him for now in Ruhenheim.

Ruhenheim means "peaceful house" hahahah the irony!

With the arrival of the devil and his apostles, the town is undergoing a massive change at a rapid pace, fear, terror and mass hysteria will soon spread across this town of eventual doom and despair. The raining weather is the cherry on top, it sets the whole atmosphere perfectly.

So we now know of Johan's final goal, THE PERFECT SUICIDE. One that apparently involves his death is solitary and a whole ton of civilians dead. We've seen the old couples and some other Johan's subordinates instigating the plan already by either killing specific targets or making use of potential wild cards such as the bicycle kid and his father by strapping them up with some good old black-on-black pistols. NOT TO MENTION, aside from the town already being geographically isolated in the mountain, the rain conveniently forced public transport to be halted and all that Johan's underlings gotta do is cut off or jam the radio signals which they already did.

By the end of the series, if the flow event goes the way Johan wanted it to, this town would be the most Americanized town in all of Germany HURAAHH 🦅🦅🦅 Give the quiet kids free guns and let Democracy spreads rampantly across the horizon!!!

What in the what is happening rn in the peaceful town they call. One guy's already dead in this episode and can't imagine even more horrible scenarios that are going to happen in the town. This was a pretty scary episode.
