I'm pretty sure THOUSANDS of people died because of Johan, he's basically Hitler but worse... Finally the detectives are a little more praise worthy, and actually are figuring some stuff out. Good episode.

I wouldn't have remembered this detective if the flashback hadn't been shown.

I didn't like this episode that much tbh.

Johan is just giving a little push to those people who already have tough internal conflicts.

Lol, didn't realize he was the detective from the 1st arc.

So that's where Johan and Nina gone to...

Well, seems this is getting nearer to the climax, not to mention the ending reached it's ending as well.

Ok this is just ridiculous. People call Johan a monster, a demon, an alien, and are afraid of him and obey him as if they didn't have will of their own. No one is that charismatic. And we're talking about someone who is still essentially a kid. I just don't buy it how adults could be so easy to manipulate by Johan's mere presence. That's also the reason why Tenma and others think the only way to stop the murders is to kill Johan; because if he was put in an institution he would be able to manipulate the doctors into thinking he's actually healthy or make the doctors kill themselves, right? But those people are professionals, there are tests for psychopaths and people dealing with them know not to let their guard down and believe everything. Johan is not a great character - he's only made to look impressive by making all the other characters in the show more idiotic than real people would be.

The way these 60-odd episodes have built Johan to be the greatest antagonist of all time, I'm going to be utterly livid if the climax fails to meet expectations.

Another episode which proves to us all that Johan's manipulative skills are on the league of their own. His character development and the fact that hes an antagonist of the series makes him truly one of the greatest antagonists in the anime without a doubt, no more built up is gonna be needed for this it was already proven troughout the show time after tiime.

Cool to see the the inspector Weissbach again who was the first detective we've seen.
As absurd as the criminals are for being convinced by Johan (especially alien guy), I kinda see it as realistic considering mentally not well people such as flat earthers and the like exist.

"He speaks the language of the universe."

So a monster, a second Hitler, a demon, an alien... we only need someone to describe Johan as Christ and we are set.

Johan manipulating all these criminals when he was still a child is borderline unbelievable but I’ll let it slide, those men were psychopaths and just needed a trigger to begin.

Didn’t realize that this is the detective that appeared way back at the start of the story!

Yet again the theory that Johan and Anna are the same person falls down… the taxi driver saw both Johan and Anna apparently

Johan is probably in Frankfurt. Weißbach and Gillen did a good job.

Well this guy Dinger was pretty weird. I think he just got this awful because of his circumstances as well as Johan's words he spoke to him.
Right there we see how crazy Johan actually is when it comes to manipulating. I mean...he was just a child when he met Dinger.

The case of the lost twins from the beginning is back. Johan apparently was master manipulator even back then.

The inspector that was looking for twins back at the start of the series is getting retired now? I have bad feelings about this...

Things are coming to their climax now, this is the last stretch, and everything is coming down in Frankfurt.

Johan has always been known by those who knew him as a person who can exceptionally manipulate others to do his own bidding, manipulating a bunch of crazed serial killers to murder a specific target is one thing, but to do so without even needing to speak of it is crazy. Not to mention that these murder targets are ones that go against the rationale of these killers. Yet they'd still do it, for Johan's sake. Furthermore, if you noticed, these murder victims hold a specific role in society, like that guy who's trying to expose a financial corruption scandal. With these targets gone, JOHAN could use their absence to his advantage. That's exactly how he's able to rise up to where he is now, you can just about imagine how the death of the other targets has contributed to allowing Johan to specifically and meticulously build his way into various circles and ranks.

All this was done over a decade ago. When he was 10-ish years old. He has his goal set on something and foreseen a path to claim it, he came up with a way to reach it and saw what needed to be eliminated to get closer to his goal. Finally, he knew that this method is without its risks, so he covered up his own involvement by the use of time itself and a red herring in the forms of these serial killers who would be the ones to be locked up in prison, after all, they're the murderers.

Johan's own hands stayed clean, whilest he masterfully moves his pawns all around the tabletop as he saw himself getting closer and closer to his goals. When people start to get ahold of this happening, it has already been over 10 years since the start of Johan's masterplan.

So, one of the murdered was the man who sold Johan and Anna to Liebert couple, and the other was the man who was about to expose Johan's past money laundering. Johan is cleaning his past. But what did that young lady do?

I really hope Dr. Gillen makes it out alive, he is very likeable for some reason.

I was wondering why they introduce so many new characters so late in the story. Started to make sense when they all were talking about the park in Frankfurt. I have to say Gillen really is an interesting character. I never would have expected that when he was first introduced. We are getting closer to the mystery now. Only 10 more episodes. I hope it'll live up to the expectations that grew over all these episodes.

Feels like it's entering the start of the final arc here and i hope the conclusion to all of this story will be pretty strong. Frankfurt here we go!
