 The official website for the television anime adaptation of Pomu's Senpai wa Otokonoko (Senpai Is an Otokonoko) web manga revealed additional staff, theme songs, and a second key visual (pictured) on Sunday. Shinsuke Yanagi (Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun) is directing the anime at Project No.9. Yoriko Tomita (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru) is handling the series composition and Shouto Shinkai (Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano datta animation director) is designing the characters. Yukari Hashimoto (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.) is composing the music. Pomu originally posted the crossdressing romance manga under the title Otokonoko ga Kouhai ni Kokuhaku sareru Hanashi on her Twitter account in July 2019 before serializing it on the LINE Manga platform from December 2019 to December 2021. Ichijinsha published the eighth volume on April 1. Webtoon began releasing the manga in English on March 9.
