They're hiding Ruijerd;s identity as a

right? So why does ferrying him across cost so much? I'm anime only if it's relevant.

Iirc I think it's because they claim he's a Superd. even if they don't believe he is, the guild card shows his actual race and if word gets out they brought a Superd over to Millis (I'm guessing that's the ferry you're talking about), that would be bad for them. (it's been a while since I read that part of the novel so I might be off)

It could also just have something to do with the holy kingdom of Millis and their hatred of demonkind.

also worth noting, the currency on the demon continent is worth almost nothing compared to the Millis continent, so they make a lot less than they do on Millis (and the central continent for that matter)

TL;DR: It's because of his race and the weak currency on the Demon continent.

in the ln it was said that demons in general have to pay higher than humans to go to zant port and especially the superd race was highly feared in millis thats why the upfront cost was around 200 emerald coins

The anime explains it. Superds are feared by everyone, so they either are shunned from society or their over charged for anything because of the risk that dealing with them poses.

I think one because he was adult, whose fare is probably higher than kids, and because they wanted to hide his identity.

@delloskill He shaved his head first so no one would know he was a superd. The green hair would be a big hint. Same reason he wears the headband, to hide his eye.
They later start telling people what he is because they´re trying to change peoples opinions about them.
